ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. R. JEYAKANTHA A/L RATNASINGAM

Associate Professor Dr. Jeyakantha Ratnasingam obtained his undergraduate degree from the National University of Malaysia and his Masters Degree in Internal Medicine from University of Malaya. He completed his advanced training in endocrinology with the Ministry of Health Malaysia and had undergone a fellowship in endocrinology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane, Australia. He manages patients with type 2 and type 1 diabetes, osteoporosis, pituitary, thyroid, gonadal and adrenal disorders. To further pursue his interest in neuro-endocrinology, he has also undergone an attachment at the Auckland City Hospital Pituitary Centre in New Zealand and the Cambridge University's endocrine clinic at the Addenbrooke's Hospital in the United Kingdom. He is currently a senior consultant endocrinologist and the Head of Endocrinology at the University of Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur. Besides managing patients with endocrine disorders, he plays an active role in investigator as well as industry initiated clinical trials in the field of endocrinology, diabetes and osteoporosis. He has published papers in academic journals and actively speaks at scientific meetings. He is currently the council member of the Malaysian Endocrine and Metabolic Society, Diabetes Malaysia and the Malaysian Osteoporosis Society. He also sits on the editorial board of the Asian Journal of Diabetology. Dr. Jeya is particularly interested in the field of neuroendocrinology, aiming at improving outcomes for patients living with pituitary disorders.

ASSOCIATE PROF. SR DR. MOHD SUHAIMI BIN MOHD DANURI

Mohd Suhaimi Mohd Danuri graduated from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 1995 with a Diploma in Quantity Surveying & in 1997 with a Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (Honours). In August 2003, he graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Master of Construction Law (MConstrLaw). About ten years later in Jun 2013, he graduated from the Graduate School of Management, Universiti Putra Malaysia with a PhD in Business Law. Prior to his lecturing appointment, he had worked with several consultants, precaster and construction companies. He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Quantity Surveying, Faculty of Built Environment, University of Malaya since 2003 and promoted to associate professor in 2020. He was the Head of the Department of Quantity Surveying from 1st April 2006 to 8th July 2007, and in August 2016, he has been appointed again to serve as the Head of the Department of Quantity Surveying on 2-years term until August 2018, and reappointed to serve until 26 May 2019. He is a registered Consultant Quantity Surveyor (CQS) with the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia, Member of The Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (MRISM), Associate Member of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK (ACIArb) and Member of Institute of Value Management Malaysia. He was the academic advisor for a UK franchised programme, run by a private academic institution in Malaysia. He serves as external examiner for several academic programmes in Malaysia and is actively involved in various committees and programmes under the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia, Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia and Construction Industry Development Board of Malaysia. His main research interests are in the areas of procurement and construction law. He has published over 50 articles in journals and conference proceedings, and published his first single-author book in 2021, in addition to the other 2 co-authored books previously published in 2015 and 2017. Apart from academic profile, he is currently a member of the Registration & Qualification Committee, deputy chairman for Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) Sub-Committee, under the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (BQSM). He has also served several ministries and government agencies to give advice on technical matters, and occasionally appointed as a committee member for Disciplinary and Investigation Committee setup as a result of any official disciplinary complaint lodged to the BQSM.

DATIN SRI PROF. DR. SUHAIZA HANIM BINTI DATO MOHAMAD ZAILANI

Suhaiza Zailani is an expert in the field of Supply Chain Management (SCM). She received her MSc in Operational Research and a PhD in Management Science from Lancaster University, England, United Kingdom. Currently serving as a Professor of Supply Chain at the Faculty of Business and Economics, University Malaya, she has made significant contributions to academia and the business community. During her academic career, Suhaiza Zailani has held several key positions, including Head of Training Section and Deputy Dean of Postgraduates. She also served as the Director of the University of Malaya Entrepreneurship Center (UMEC). Under her leadership, UMEC received recognition as one of the top 20 entrepreneurship centers globally by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business' (AACSB) Entrepreneurship Spotlight Challenge. This recognition underscores her commitment to providing students with practical business experience and tools for success. Suhaiza Zailani has recently been appointed as the Director of the Ungku Aziz Center (UAC), which is dedicated to supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable communities through collaborations with government agencies and corporations. This appointment demonstrates her dedication to making a positive impact on society. Her primary area of expertise lies in Supply Chain Management, with a specific focus on sustainability and halal issues. Her achievements in SCM are evident through her extensive track record, including supervising numerous postgraduate students, securing research grants, conducting consultations, fostering industrial partnerships, and holding professional appointments. Suhaiza Zailani has also made significant contributions to the field through her publications. She has authored articles in the newpapers column and written a textbook on Operations Management, widely used by undergraduate students. Additionally, she has published more than 200 papers in various citation-indexed journals, with a strong presence in ISI-based and Scopus journals. Her impact on the academic community is reflected in her impressive citation records, with an ISI H-Index of 39 (5,059 total citations), a Scopus H-Index of 44 (7,132 citations), and a Google Scholar H-Index of 63 (15,230 citations) as of October 10, 2023. These numbers highlight the significance and influence of her research in the field. Suhaiza Zailani has received numerous recognitions and awards throughout her career, including nominations for the Anugerah Akademik Negara by both University Science Malaysia (USM) in 2012 and the University of Malaya (UM) in 2017. She was awarded the USM Sanggar Sanjung in 2012 and recognized as the UM Distinguished Researcher in 2016. Her contributions to literature have also earned her the Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence in 2016 and 2019. Moreover, her dedication to research excellence is underscored by her recognition as one of the recipients of the Top 80 UM Researchers in 2021 and 2022. She was the only recipient from the arts discipline, highlighting her interdisciplinary approach and contributions to the broader scientific community.
