Dr. Mohd Zulkhairi Mustapha is a Professor in the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Malaya. He holds a Ph.D. in Accounting and Finance from Cardiff University, United Kingdom, and is an associate member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). He currently serves as the Director of Universiti Malaya Business School. Over the years, he has held several key administrative positions, including Deputy Dean (Undergraduate), Head of the Department of Accounting, Head of the Customer Feedback and Improvement Unit at the Quality Management Enhancement Centre (QMEC), and Coordinator of the Bachelor of Accounting programme. With over two decades of teaching and research experience across undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programmes, Dr. Mohd Zulkhairi is recognised for his expertise in taxation and corporate governance. He has served as an examiner for several professional bodies, including the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM), the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), and the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA). His contributions to curriculum development are well acknowledged. He has served as an internal programme assessor at the Universiti Malaya, a taxation expert reviewer for Halatuju Accounting Programme 4, an external examiner for the Bachelor of Accounting and Finance at First City University, and a member of the advisory board for the Bachelor of Accounting programme at Malaysian polytechnics under the Ministry of Higher Education. Dr. Mohd Zulkhairi’s research interests include tax governance, tax compliance, international taxation, ESG, and internal corporate governance mechanisms. He has published extensively in reputable accounting and management journals and conducted consultancy projects that informed government policies and decision-making. He is also a regular reviewer of research proposals and academic articles, a thesis examiner, and a guest expert on local media such as TV3, Astro, and Bernama. He is frequently invited by universities and professional bodies to deliver lectures, seminars, and training on taxation and corporate governance. To date, he has secured research grants exceeding half a million ringgit from various public and private agencies, including the Malaysian Tax Research Foundation (MTRF) and the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). Dr. Mohd Zulkhairi also serves as Consulting Editor for the Asian Journal of Accounting Research (AJAR), a Scopus-indexed journal, and was formerly the Area Managing Editor for the Asian Journal of Business and Accounting (AJBA).

Dr. Goh Boon Tong is a professor in the Department of Physics, Universiti Malaya, where currently serves as the Deputy Dean, Institute for Advanced Studies and the Deputy Head of the Low Dimensional Materials Research Center. He earned his PhD in 2012 with a thesis titled “Layer-by-Layer Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapour Deposition of Nanocrystalline Silicon Thin Films”. His primary research interests focus on the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials, including one-dimensional structures (nanowires, nanotubes, and nanorods), two-dimensional materials (graphene and metal carbides), and metallic nanoparticles. Dr. Goh has obtained numerous prestigious awards, both locally and internationally. These include the MASS 2001 Awards (Best Thesis Awards for Final Year Project of Undergraduate Science) from MASS Malaysia, the Excellence Award 2012 (for PhD candidates with the highest impact publications in the sciences) from the Universiti Malaya, the Newton Advanced Fellowship 2016, the Outstanding Researcher in Materials under the Science Discipline Award from the Venus International Foundation, the 2020 Top Research Scientists Malaysia (TRSM) Award from the Academy of Sciences Malaysia, as well as several conference awards. He has secured many local and international research grants and holds 6 filed patents. Dr. Goh also has been appointed to various academic and professional roles, including adjunct professor, visiting professor, visiting scientist, session chair at international conferences, editorial members and associate editors of journals, PhD thesis examiners by universities worldwide. To date, he has published over 235 peer-reviewed papers, with a total of nearly 3, 400 citations (h-index = 30) according to Google Scholar, and more than 156 refereed papers with nearly 2, 600 citations (h-index = 26) according to Publons Web of Science.

Dr. Hidayah obtained her first degree in Bachelor of Science with Islamic Studies specialized in Ecology and Biodiversity from Universiti Malaya in 2009, under Public Service Department Malaysia scholarship. She then continued her interest in Science Biology at the same university under the National Science Fellowship (NSF), Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation scholarship where she obtained a Master of Science in Molecular Taxonomy in 2013. Afterward, she worked as a Research Assistant to expand her experience in the research world before she continued her PhD. In the year 2015, she received a scholarship from the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia to pursue her PhD focusing on Bio-ecological and taxonomic studies of Malaysian dragonflies at Universiti Malaya. While completing her PhD, she becomes a recipient of short-term International Program Associates (IPAs) under the International Joint Graduate School Program RIKEN, by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), Wako-Shi, Japan in 2016. RIKEN is Japan's largest comprehensive research institution renowned for high-quality research in a diverse range of scientific disciplines. While carrying out her PhD project at RIKEN, she was engaged in the Enzyme Research Team, Biomass Engineering Research Division, RIKEN Center for Sustainable Resource Science. The research she has conducted at RIKEN to date aims to demonstrate the micro joint wing properties in the suborder Zygoptera using combined techniques of laser scanning confocal microscopy (LSCM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM) to explore resilin elasticity investigations and analyze of protein components. In 2018, she completed her PhD and started her career as a part-timer lecturer, and afterward, she has been appointed as Senior Lecturer in 2020 under Ecology Biodiversity Programme, Institute of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya. She currently teaches Animal Behaviour & Ethology and Animal Structure, Function & Physiology subjects to undergraduate students. She has vast experience in teaching and learning starting as a demonstrator back in 2013 and involved in immense research field preliminary back to 2010 and became a reviewer in several peer-reviewed and high impact journals such as PLoS ONE.
