ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. NORAZILAWATI BINTI MUHAMAD SARIH

Norazilawati Muhamad Sarih obtained her BSc (Hons.) degree in Polymer Technology from the University of MARA Technology, Malaysia. After graduating in 2001, she worked temporarily at Pearson (M) Sdn Bhd as an Assistant Editor. Subsequently, she was offered a permanent position at Heveafil (M) Sdn Bhd as an R&D Executive in the same year. In 2004, she joined the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya as a temporary Tutor. In 2010, she earned her PhD degree in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Durham, United Kingdom. Later that year, she was appointed as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya. Throughout her career, she has taught various courses in several programs, including BSc in Chemistry, BSc in Applied Chemistry, MSc (coursework), and a Research Methodology course for PhD students. She has supervised ten postgraduates and is currently supervising three postgraduates pursuing PhD and MSc degrees. Additionally, she has mentored over 30 final-year project students. Apart from her administrative responsibilities at the departmental and faculty level, she has been serving as the Vice-President of the Malaysia Carbon Management Society since 2019.

DR. HARRY TELAJAN ANAK LINANG

Harry Linang earned his PhD in Computational Seismology from the University of Cambridge in 2023. His doctoral research focused on unraveling the crustal seismic structure of Borneo and Sulawesi, providing new insights into their tectonic evolution. With expertise spanning both Geophysics (mostly Seismology) and Geology, he aims to bridge the gap between these disciplines to advance our understanding of Earth's dynamic processes. His work, particularly in Southeast Asia, reflects a strong commitment to expanding scientific knowledge of regional tectonics and seismic activity.

DR. MOHAMAD SHAFIQ BIN AZANAN

Dr Mohamad Shafiq is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Paediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Biotechnology, specializing in cellular, molecular, and developmental biology, from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He completed his Honours Year for a project on skeletal developmental disease at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute and the Royal Children Hospital, Melbourne. He then obtained his Ph.D. from Universiti Malaya in 2019 for his research on the role of immune derangements in the late effects of childhood cancer survivors. Currently his research topics involved haematology-oncology, ageing and paediatric research. He is also the consultants and collaborates in many projects that involved flow cytometry.
