Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Norhusairi bin Mat Hussin is a faculty member at the Department of Shariah and Law, Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya (UM). Prior to joining academia, he practiced as a Syarie lawyer in the Shariah Courts of Malaysia. Dr. Chua Kah Ooi is now a senior lecturer in the Centre for Research in Biotechnology for Agriculture (CEBAR), Universiti Malaya. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology from the same university.
