Biography | |
Dr Zahiruddin Fitri Abu Hassan is a senior lecturer in Building Surveying at Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. His expertise and research is in building pathology, concrete durability and construction technology.
An avid e-Learning advocate, he loves tinkering with computers and exploring new software and web 2.0 tools for education. His passion led the university to appoint him as the Head of e-Learning at the Academic Enhancement & Leadership Development Centre (ADeC) in 2014, just 2 years after completing his PhD. He was the Deputy Director (e-Learning Innovation and Technology) at ADeC, and now holding the post as Head of Training at ADEC.
He rows occasionally, plays volleyball, cycles and take the train to work.
