Dr Nurin Wahidah binti Mohd Zulkifli obtained her Mechanical Engineering degree at University of Malaya, Malaysia. She pursued her Master’s degree (MSc.Eng) at Monash University, Australia, and Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Tribology at the University of Malaya, Malaysia. Upon completing her studies, she is appointed as a senior lecturer in 2015 at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Malaya, until the present day. She is specializing in combustion and fuel engineering (tribology). To date, she has successfully published 77 research articles in both national and international journals. She currently has 2084 citations and an H-index of 28. Besides that, she has successfully supervised four PhD and eight master students and currently supervising another four PhD and seven master students from various countries. In 2020 Dr Nurin’s name appeared in recognition of ranking among the top 2% of researchers for the most cited documents in engineering by Web of Science and Clarivate Analytic. She has been involved in many grant projects while being the head of internal and external grants. She actively collaborates with other researchers in the United Kingdom, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia to apply for grants, joint research, and writing papers. Her research collaborators include PROTON, PETRONAS Research, DUCOM, MPOB, and researchers from local universities.
