Dr. Mohd Fazli Abdul Aziz is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Political Science, Public Administration and Development Studies, Faculty of Business and Economics, Universiti Malaya. He holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy and a Master of Public Administration from Universiti Malaya, along with a Bachelor's and Diploma in Public Administration from Universiti Teknologi MARA. Dr. Fazli brings extensive experience from both academia and public service. Prior to his academic appointment, he served in various capacities within the Malaysian government. At the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, he was attached to the Department of Climate Change, contributing to national initiatives on climate policy and sustainability strategies. He also held roles as Assistant Director at the Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Management Corporation (SWCorp Malaysia) under the Ministry of Local Government Development, and at the Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU), Prime Minister's Department, where he was involved in project coordination, policy implementation, and strategic monitoring. His areas of expertise include Public Policy, Fiscal Administration, Public Sector Finance, Environmental Policy, and Qualitative Research Methods. He is actively engaged in teaching, research, and community-based initiatives that support evidence-based policy making and sustainable governance. |
