ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. KWAN ZHENLI

Dr. Kwan is a medical lecturer and consultant dermatologist at the University of Malaya. After qualifying with an MBBS from the University of Malaya, she worked as a house officer in Singapore and subsequently served as a medical officer in Singapore and Australia. Upon returning to Malaysia, she completed dermatology subspecialty training in 2016 when she graduated with the Advanced Master in Dermatology from University Kebangsaan Malaysia. She also obtained the Specialty Certificate in Dermatology from the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom in the same year. Dr. Kwan has a keen interest in clinical medicine, teaching and research, particularly in the field of psoriasis, cutaneous oncology and Mohs micrographic surgery.

ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. NORJIHAN BINTI ABDUL GHANI

Norjihan is currently an Associate Professor in Department of Information Systems, FCSIT, Universiti Malaya. She started working at UM as a lecturer since November 2002 and become a senior lecturer in 2015. Her PhD in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (2013), and her Master in Information Technology (2000) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and she obtained her Bachelor Degree in Information Technolgy from Universiti Utara Malaysia (2000). Currently, she is the Head of Department for Information Systems since 7 October 2019. Her research interest is in the areas of information security which she focuses more on information privacy, data security and data protection. Norjihan managed to secure various research grants from internal and external funds as Principal Investigator, and also a co-researcher for many grants. She was actively involved in the curriculum development when was appointed as Programme Coordinator for Master of Information Technology Management and was involved in many programme development at the faculty level. Apart from this, she also involved being a panel interviewer for Hadiah Latihan Persekutuan and Biasiswa Yang di Pertuan Agong.

DR. SITI AISYAH BINTI SAMUDIN

Siti Aisyah Samudin is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Syariah and Law Department, Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya, Malaysia. She graduated with a Diploma in Syariah and Islamic Jurisprudence with honors class one from the International Islamic University College of Selangor in 2011. In 2015, she was awarded a Bachelor Degree in Syariah and Law with honors class one from the Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya. She completed her doctoral studies in 2019 at the same university in which she specialized in Islamic tort and Islamic criminal justice. Her areas of expertise and research interests are Islamic criminal law, negligence, tort and consumerism. Her current research is on the need for an approach of harmonisation between diyya and existing compensation method including Malaysian law and insurance, to provide comprehensive protection to victims of road accidents. She is currently active in research and writing articles, especially on compensation for road traffic accident victims in Malaysia, the role of Insurance and Takaful as well as the potential of diyat in the area of damages. She was the recipients for Gold Medal Poster Exhibition Research University Malaya 2019. She is currently supervising 1 masters students and upcoming 5 PhD students. Outside the University, she is an exco member of al-Mukhlisin Foundation (an NGO).
