Dr. Mohd Khairulnazrin bin Mohd Nasir, ana jati kelahiran Kelantan. Memperoleh Ijazah Kedoktoran (Ph.D) Usuluddin di Universiti Malaya dalam bidang hadith pada tahun 2020 dengan anugerah tesis cemerlang (with distinction). Tesisnya bertajuk “Hadith tentang roh dalam al-Kutub al-Tis’ah: Kajian terhadap keperluan pembangunan garis panduan representasi unsur roh dalam filem seram di Malaysia.” Memperoleh Ijazah Sarjana Usuluddin di Universiti Malaya (UM) pada 2017 dalam bidang al-Hadith dengan tesis bertajuk “Kepercayaan animisme menurut perspektif Sunnah: Kajian terhadap imam dan remaja di Pitas, Sabah.” Beliau juga memegang dua Ijazah Sarjana Muda dalam bidang al-Quran dan al-Qiraat dari Maahad Qiraat al-Azhar di Shoubra,  Mesir pada 2008 dan yang kedua Ijazah Sarjana Muda dalam al-Hadith dan Pengajian Islam dari Fakulti al-Hadith, Universiti Islam Madinah, Arab Saudi. Beliau banyak menulis kertas kerja dan dibentangkan di seminar-seminar kebangsaan dan antarabangsa. Penulisan beliau merangkumi bidang pengajian al-Quran, al-Hadith dan akidah. Pernah bertugas di Jabatan Usuluddin, Fakulti Pengajian Islam Kontemporari, Kolej Islam Antarabangsa Sultan Ismail Petra (KIAS), Nilam Puri, Kota Bharu Kelantan (Jun 2017 – Feb 2024). Bertugas sebagai Pensyarah Kanan di Akademi Pengajian Islam Universiti Malaya, Pusat Pendidikan Universiti Malaya, Bachok Kelantan (Mac 2024-kini).  

Feng-Hsu Lee, a Taiwanese composer, has received numerous awards, among them, the first prize of the Washington International Competition for Composition (2012), the runner-up of the Minnesota Orchestra Composer Institute (2010), the Anthony and Carolyn Donato Prize of the Eastman School of Music (2008), the second prize in the Literature and Arts Creation Award of the Ministry of Education in Taiwan (2008), the first prize of the Taipei Percussion Composition Competition (2002), the first prize of the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra International Composition Competition (2001), etc. Until now, he has accepted commissioned works from the Council for Cultural Affairs Taiwan, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand, Evergreen Symphony Orchestra, YinQi Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, Association of Vocal Artists of R.O.C., Central Connecticut State University Chamber Players, Performance 20/20 of the Hartt School, Taipei Century Choir, Tabernacle Women’s Choir, Taiwanese Choral Society of Rochester, Chiasong Ensemble, Sharing Chamber Orchestra, Camerata Youth String Orchestra, Lien Percussion, Sylvanus Ensemble, Composition VII Saxophone Quartet, Ensemble Yeon, The Woven Sounds, and Oboe Duo Agosto. Hesham Al-Mekhlafi has a PhD in public health (2008), master’s degrees in medical science (parasitology) (2004) and in applied statistics (2012) as well as a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratories (1997). Since early 2000s, he has been actively engaged in research on the molecular epidemiology and prevention of infectious diseases including malaria, neglected tropical diseases, NTDs (such as soil-transmitted helminthiasis, schistosomiasis, leishmaniasis and dengue fever), and waterborne parasites. He joined the department of parasitology, University of Malaya (a regional leading dept. in parasitology research) for seven years (2009–2016) as a senior lecturer and promoted to associate professor. In 2016, he joined Jazan University, Saudi Arabia and promoted to full professor in 2022. He re-joined Universiti Malaya in 2023. He has taught several courses in parasitology, epidemiology, biostatistics, and research methodology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has established passionate research teams that involved diligent postgraduate students, enthusiastic colleagues, and inspiring national and international collaborators. The research dedicated to helping vulnerable rural and aboriginal communities in Malaysia and other countries including Yemen, Nigeria and Libya against the NTDs, malaria and other infectious diseases. He has published more than 150 articles in high-impact ISI & Scopus indexed journals; with h-index of 41 (WoS). Hesham has been a member of several academic, scientific and administrative councils and committees. He also enjoys reviewing scientific manuscripts, research proposals, plans and strategies, theses and reports, etc. He is a member of the editorial boards of several renowned journals, and a regular reviewer for many peer-reviewed journals as well as a panel member of assessors for various national and international research grant schemes and postgraduate programs.
