Norjihan is currently a Senior Lecturer in Department of Information System, FCSIT, Universiti Malaya. She started working at UM as a lecturer since November 2002 and become a senior lecturer in 2015. Her PhD in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (2013), and her Master in Information Technology (2000) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and she obtained her Bachelor Degree in Information Technolgy from Universiti Utara Malaysia (2000). Currently, she is the Head of Department for Information Systems since 7 October 2019. Her research interest is in the areas of information security which she focuses more on information privacy, data security, data protection. Norjihan managed to secure various research grants from internal and external funds as Principal Investigator, and also a co-researcher for grants. She was actively involved in the curriculum development which was appointed as Programme Coordinator for Master of Information Technology Management and involved in many programme development at the faculty level. Apart from this, she also involved being a panel interviewer for Hadiah Latihan Persekutuan and Biasiswa Yang di Pertuan Agong.
show more »Faizuri Bin Abd Latif was born in 1972 in Jerteh, Besut, Terengganu. He holds a Bachelor of Usuluddin (BA Hons) in Aqidah and Philosophy from al-Azhar University, Egypt (1996), a Master’s degree in Usuluddin from the University of Malaya (2003), and subsequently completed his PhD at the University of Malaya in 2009. He is currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Department of Usuluddin and Da'wah, Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya. Throughout his tenure as a lecturer in the Department of Usuluddin and Da`wah, he has been actively writing various articles related to aqidah, Islamic thought, aqidah in the Malay world, and other related areas. In addition, he has been involved in presenting seminar papers at both national and international levels. To date, he has produced more than 50 articles in national and international journals. He has also authored several books, two of which were published by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP). At the Department of Usuluddin and Da`wah, he has been entrusted with several administrative responsibilities, in addition to teaching various undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as Aqaid al-Islamiyyah, Contemporary Issues in Aqidah and Islamic Thought, Bibliographical Studies in Aqidah and Islamic Thought, Studies on Deviant Teachings in Malaysia, Islamic Philosophy, Introduction to Usuluddin Studies, Works on Aqidah and Islamic Thought, Discourse on Kalam and Islamic Philosophy and others.
show more »Nurhidayah binti Abdullah received her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Hons) and Master in Comparative Law (M.C.L) from the International Islamic University Malaysia and went to earn Doctor of Philosophy (2015) from the University of Sydney Business School, Australia. She was admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2004. She is currently a Senior Lecturer at Faculty of Law, University of Malaya.Her research interest lies broadly in the area of contract law, business law including the social and economic aspects relevant to strengthen the areas of law. She has written extensively in the area of good faith in contractual performance and published in various local and international reputed journals. Her first book ‘Good Faith in Contractual Performance in Australia’ is published by Palgrave Macmillan, an international reputed publisher.Recently, she was invited by Chief Judge of Malaya, The Right Hon.Tan Sri Dato'Sri Azahar bin Mohamed to present her presentation entitled "Good Faith In Contractual Performance :Chasing a Mirage' in front of the judges at Palace of Justice, Putrajaya.
