Azmin Azliza Aziz is a Senior Lecturer in the Decision Science department at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Universiti Malaya. She holds a BSc. in Industrial Mathematics from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), a Masters in Applied Statistics from Macquarie University, Sydney, and a PhD in Operations Research from the University of Warwick. She is currently the Coordinator for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program at the faculty. Dr. Azliza’s research interests extend to optimization, digital technologies, IoT, supply chain, halal logistics, and social media studies, areas where she supervises numerous PhD and Masters students. Over the past decade, she has contributed articles to esteemed journals, authored multiple book chapters, and presented at various conferences. Leading recent research grants on mobile health applications and the Internet of drones, Dr. Azliza’s work was honored with two medals at the Malaysia Technology Expo 2021. ‪
show more »Mohd Yusri is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Malaya, where he teaches and supervises in the areas of information management, digital learning technologies, and emerging ICT skills. He holds a PhD in Information Technology from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) specialising in green end-user computing and virtualization approaches. His research background focuses on digital literacy, AI literacy, data analytics, and green ICT, with a particular interest in how sustainable technologies and information sciences can enhance the capabilities of learners, educators, and public sector professionals. Before joining academia in 2025, he served for more than 15 years in the Malaysian public sector, served as a IT Officer and Training Consultant (INTAN). During this period, he managed, designed and delivered courses related to Artificial Intelligence, ICT Project Management, Agile PM, Green Data Centre, and Data Analytics for government officers. He has also contributed to national digital transformation initiatives, including Digital Government Competency Capability Readiness (DGCCR) and the National Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence Committee (NBAIC). As a Professional Technologist and researcher, he is dedicated to advancing digital capability, promoting responsible AI, and strengthening the integration of eco-friendly ICT solutions within education and the public sector.
show more »Dr. Azanna Ahmad Kamar is an Associate Professor and Consultant Neonatologist at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya (UM), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A UM MBBS graduate herself, she received further training in paediatrics and neonatology at the Paediatric Institute of Hospital Kuala Lumpur and in Dublin, Eire. She is the present Head of the Department of Paediatrics. Her passion for paediatric bioethics led her to complete her certification in Paediatric Bioethics from Children’s Mercy Hospital, University of Missouri, Kansas City, USA in 2016. Besides teaching paediatrics and neonatology, she also teaches the Special Population course of the Masters of Health in Research Ethics (MOHRE) programme, with interests in neonatal end-of-life issues, the impact of medical innovations, technology dependence, shared decisions, and sociocultural influences in decision-making. She is also a keen advocate of quality improvement initiatives, research in infection control, innovative neonatal engineering, neonatal ventilation, neonatal transport, resource allocation, and infant nutrition. She champions prematurity awareness by promoting awareness of complications related to preterm births. She is a past President of the Perinatal Society of Malaysia (Council 2016/2017); a member of the Malaysian Bioethics Community (MBC) and Clinical Ethics Malaysia (CEM); team member of the South East Asia Early Nutrition Academy (ENEA-SEA) e-learning infant nutrition platform under EU-Erasmus e-learning collaboration; the head of the Research and Publications committee of the Federation of Asia-Oceania Perinatal Societies (FAOPS); steering committee member of the Malaysian National Neonatal Registry (MNNR); scientific chairperson of the FAOPS 2022 congress; a champion of the Malaysian Prematurity Awareness Programme; a past Organising/ Scientific Chair of the Kuala Lumpur International Neonatology Conference (KLINC) and is a member of the Lancet Child Health Commission on the Future of Neonatology advising group.
