PROF. DR. FATHILAH BINTI ABDUL RAZAK

Joined the Faculty of Dentistry Universiti Malaya as a Tutor in 1996, completed Ph.D. in 2004, and has since, became a teaching academic in the Department of Oral and Craniofacial Sciences until her retirement in mid-June 2022. Throughout her career, Prof Fathilah has served the faculty as the Deputy Dean (Development & Human Resource), Head of the department, Head of Auditor, as well as Adjunct and Visiting Professor at UNAIR Surabaya and UNPAD Bandung, Indonesia. She has also been appointed as External Examiners and Program Reviewer for the Oral Biology discipline, and examiner for Master and Doctorate thesis in UM and various universities in Malaysia. Prof Fathilah’s current research interest revolves around the oral environment that includes the oral biofilm, saliva, oral microbes, oral mucosa, and the interaction of these factors with various components that are exposed to the oral ecosystem. Now Prof Fathilah is still with UM, serving as an Honorary Prof until June 2025.

AR. DR. MOHD FIRRDHAUS BIN MOHD SAHABUDDIN

Mohd Firrdhaus Mohd Sahabuddin is a Professional Architect registered with the Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM), a member of the education committee for the Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM) and a graduate member of the Royal Incorporation of Architects Scotland (RIAS). He is also a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). He gained his Master's degree in Advanced Sustainable Design from the University of Edinburgh and was later awarded the ‘Andrew Grant Award’ for the best dissertation in the University for the year. He then pursued his study at a PhD level at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow with the British Government Sponsorship under the Commonwealth Scholarship Tenable in the United Kingdom. He worked with the Public Works Department (PWD) of Malaysia from 2005 to 2021. His last position was as the head of the Architectural Forensic Unit in the Architectural Branch, Public Works Department of Malaysia. Currently, he is holding a position as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Built Environment, University of Malaya. His research work focuses on the areas of sustainable architecture and indoor environmental quality (IEQ) such as thermal comfort, visual comfort, indoor air quality, and building ventilation.

DR. KHOO WEE VIEN

Dr Khoo Wee Vien is a clinical lecturer and Developmental Paediatrics Fellow at Universiti Malaya. Her areas of interest are child population health, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning difficulties and long term developmental outcomes in children experiencing adversity. She has publications in a number of peer-reviewed journals and wrote a book chapter. Dr Khoo is very passionate in the area of child advocacy and believes in knowledge translation about child health to parents and caregivers. She also enjoys teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in the area of paediatrics. She is actively involved in planning, coordinating and examining at undergraduate and postgraduate theory and clinical examinations at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya.  Dr Khoo was a recipient of JPA scholarship for undergraduate medical studies in the United Kingdom and received the Hilda Margery Cuff Prize for best student in the Medical posting. She furthered her training in Master of Paediatrics and obtained her membership with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. She is currently continuing her sub-specialty training in Developmental Paediatrics.
