DR. ISSA KHAN

Dr. Issa Khan joined in 2015 at the Department of Shariah and Management, Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya as a Senior Lecturer after completing his Ph.D. in Takaful (Islamic Insurance) with Bright Sparks Scholarship from the University. He was also awarded an amount of money for completing this degree within three to four years. Prior he had been awarded the University of Malaya Fellowship for the Master's Programme in Islamic Financial Transactions.   In 2014,  he received Bronze Medal Award from APIUM Academic Open Week (Minggu Terbuka Akademik) and the Best Paper Award from Islamic Finance and Property Research Seminar (Seminar Penyelidikan Kewangan Dan Kehartaan Islam), the University of Malaya in 2013.  Moreover, he achieved his B.A.(Hon’s) degree in Islamic Studies and Da’wah from Darul Ihsan University, Bangladesh. Earlier, he completed Takmil (Dawra Hadith) in Hadith from Jamiyah Arabiyah Makzanul Ulum, Mymensingh, Bangladesh.

DR. MUHAMMAD NOORAIMAN BIN ZAILANI

Dr Muhammad Nooraiman is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Business and Economics, Universiti Malaya. His research interest lie in sustainable finance, corporate governance and development economics. Prior to joining academia, he served as a Manager in the Investment Department of several Government Link Investment Companies (GLICs). He is also an active member of the Malaysia Economics Association (MEA).

DR. TAN KIM KEE

Dr. Kim-Kee Tan received her Ph.D. and training in molecular virology at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya. Currently, she serves as Senior Lecturer at the Tropical Infectious Diseases Research and Education Centre (TIDREC), Universiti Malaya and the Department of Biomedical Science, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya. Her research focuses on emerging viral pathogens, integrating genomic and bioinformatic approaches to investigate virus emergence, evolution, and transmission across human, animal, vector, and environmental interfaces. Her work engages new research technologies, such as Next Generation Sequencing (NGS). Besides that, she is also a trainer for biosafety and biosecurity training; hence she has vast experience designing workflow and handling different types of pathogens. She has a strong interest in genomic surveillance and pandemic preparedness, with projects spanning viral discovery, phylogenetics, and molecular epidemiology.
