DR. SUJAYA

Dr. Sujaya Singh received her undergraduate medical training at Calicut University, Kerala, India. Subsequently she moved to Malaysia and worked in various hospitals under Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) as House Officer and Medical Officer. After working for 5 years in KKM, she underwent Ophthalmology Specialist training at the University of Malaya. Subsequently she pursued sub specialization in Cornea and Anterior Segment at L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, India and also the Malaysian cornea fellowship programme withexit Certification in December 2015. She worked as a Cornea specialist at Hospital Sungai Buloh and currently practising at University of Malaya. Her particular interests are in management of cornea and anterior segment diseases.

DR. TEOH HOOI SEE

Dr. Teoh Hooi See currently Senior lecturer at the Department of Chinese Studies, University of Malaya, having joined the University in 2011. Prior to this, she obtained her Bachelor and Master’s degrees from the University of Malaya and her PhD from the University of Peking, Beijing, China. She also was the recipient of the International Students Academic Award (first class) from the University of Peking in 2011. Dr. Teoh’s academic research focuses on classical Chinese drama, modern & contemporary Chinese literature and Mahua Literature. Her published research papers include “Private Assistant, Local Drama and Native Consciousness: The relationship between Yang Enshou's Assistant Career and His Concern in Drama” and “Traditional Women and Qing politics: the Image of Li Xiang Jun in Tao Huashan”. She has also published an anthology of poems entitled “Standing on the other side of forgotten” and a series of essays entitled “Xinshi Honghong”. She has won several literature awards, including Flower Trace (Hua Zhong) of the World Chinese Literature Award, Li He of the Chinese Prose Award, and Chao Qing Youth Literary Award. Currently, Dr. Teoh lectures on classical Chinese drama, modern Chinese literature, and Malaysian Chinese Literature.

DR. LAU SU KIA

Lau Su Kia 刘树佳 (PhD) is currently a Senior Language Lecturer (Grade 14) in the Department of Malaysian Languages and Applied Linguistics at the Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, Universiti Malaya. He also supervises doctoral and master’s students. His research interests encompass Chinese lexicology, corpus linguistics, sociolinguistics, morphology, syntax, and the teaching of Chinese as a second language. His work has been published in journals indexed by WoS, Scopus, ESCI, and CNKI. Additionally, he is a regular contributor to both local and international Chinese newspapers and digests.
