Norazilawati Muhamad Sarih obtained her BSc (Hons.) degree in Polymer Technology from the University of MARA Technology, Malaysia. After graduating in 2001, she worked temporarily at Pearson (M) Sdn Bhd as an Assistant Editor. Subsequently, she was offered a permanent position at Heveafil (M) Sdn Bhd as an R&D Executive in the same year. In 2004, she joined the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya as a temporary Tutor. In 2010, she earned her PhD degree in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Durham, United Kingdom. Later that year, she was appointed as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya. Throughout her career, she has taught various courses in several programs, including BSc in Chemistry, BSc in Applied Chemistry, MSc (coursework), and a Research Methodology course for PhD students. She has supervised ten postgraduates and is currently supervising three postgraduates pursuing PhD and MSc degrees. Additionally, she has mentored over 30 final-year project students. Apart from her administrative responsibilities at the departmental and faculty level, she has been serving as the Vice-President of the Malaysia Carbon Management Society since 2019.    

Dr. Thanalachime Perumal joined academic life as a senior lecturer in Faculty Languages and Linguistics at  The University of Malaya since 15 July 2016. Currently, she is a lecturer for Tamil Program at the Department of Malaysian Languages and Applied Linguistics. She completed her Doctoral degree  (Discourse Analysis) at University Putra Malaysia; her Masters of Modern Languages at the University of Malaya,  her Diploma in Language & Culture at University Malaya and completed teaching certificate  (Tamil) at Raja Melewer Teaching College. Her main research interests are Discourse Analysis, Tamil teaching, and learning, Media discourse, and translations. Her teaching interests are broadly within Discourse Analysis (esp Media discourse), Sociolinguistic and Translation. She welcomes proposal for Ph.D. or Master research project on any aspect of Global Tamil, areas of particular interest include: Tamil language in higher education, Language ideological debates relating to global Tamil, Intelligibility issues relating to the spread of Tamil, Attitudes towards Tamil Language, Tamil language in higher education contexts around the world, Tamil Special Purpose (CSP) in Mass Media and Language structure-Tamil syntax. 

Datuk Professor Dr Awang Azman Awang Pawi  had served in the academia world for 26 years.  The journey of his academic crossing  the institutions such as  Faculty Of Applied and Creative Arts, Center For Language Studies (Now Faculty of Language and Communication Studies), Nusantara Chair, Institute of East Asian Studies ( Now Institute of Borneo Studies) University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) untill Guest Scholar at Leiden University, Netherlands. He has been involved in the Malay Studies for more than 20 years. He graduated in Malay Studies (UM) for his doctorate and Malay Letters for his Master of Arts (UKM) and  Bachelor of Arts Second Class Upper (UKM)(Malay Letters and minor in History). He has researched, written and produced books, chapters in books, refereed journal papers (national and international), mass media and social media. Currently, he is a columnist for Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, Kuala Lumpur,  Sin Chew Daily, The Malaysian Insight and Sarawakvoice.com, a social media platform for Sarawak political affairs. His views in socioculture and political affairs appeared in Bloomberg, The South  China Morning Post (Hong Kong), Channel News Asia (Singapore), Nikkei Asian Review (Tokyo), Tempo (Jakarta). His interest in cross-discplinary field in Malay world culture, literature and heritage as well as Borneo ethnics and political culture.
