Biography | |
Dr. Adeeb finished his Ph.D from University of Malaya with distinction “summa cum laudae”. Later, he joined University of Malaya Centre for Ionic Liquids (UMCiL) as a Post-Doc under High Impact Research Program. Recently, He appointed as Senior Lecturer in Islamic and Science Program under Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya. He is research associate at Institute of Halal Research University of Malaya. His h-index is 12 according to ISI web of science and 14 according to Google Scholar. Member in Editorial Advisory Committee Inform magazine (founded 1917) published under American Oil Chemists' Society (AOCS). He have been awarded Young Chemical Engineer in Academia Award (Highly Commended) from Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) in 2014. Dr. Adeeb received Honored Student Award from American Oil Chemists' Society, 2015. He is the first winner from Southeast Countries of Manuchehr Eijadi Award from American Oil Chemists' Society, 2015. He awarded 2015 ProSPER.Net-Scopus Young Scientist Award (2nd runner up) in Sustainable Development for Energy Category due to impact of published papers related to application of green solvent for biodiesel production from low grade palm oil. This prestigious award is given annually to young scientists or researchers, based in the Asia-Pacific region (excluding USA and Canada), who have made significant contributions in the area of Sustainable Development. Dr. Adeeb is the first winner of Young Scientist Award in Asia-Pacific region from Middle East Countries. On May 2017 Dr. Adeeb received Indusrtial Oil Products (IOP) Division Junior Researcher Award for the year of 2017 from American Oil Chemists' Society.
