Biography | |
Dr. Siow Pei Yi is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. Her research focuses on hybrid modal-machine learning damage diagnosis methods and digital twins for structural health monitoring. Research interests are structural health monitoring, machine learning, vibration, modal analysis, virtual instrumentation, computational mechanics, and signal processing. She is registered as a Graduate Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). She has also been actively involved in industrial projects on structural and machinery vibration at semiconductor and on-shore oil, gas and petrochemical processing plants in Malaysia since 2019. |
