Biography | |
Shangeetha Rajah Kumaran is a Senior lecturer at the Department of English Language, Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, Universiti Malaya (UM). Her main areas of research interest are the sociolinguistic aspects of language use in literary texts, culture and society, language maintenance and shift, as well as diasporic writings of the Malaysian community. Her current research work centres on translanguaging and code-switching used in the education field, as well as the visibility of languages in public places (linguistic landscape). |
