Daniel Chow Ung T’chiang (PhD) is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, Universiti Malaya. He was the former Deputy Dean (Research and Development, 2020-2022) and the former Deputy Dean (Research, 2022). His areas of interest include English for Specific Purposes and Critical Genre Analysis. He is currently involved in research projects on Professional Discourses and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Daniel is the Treasurer of the Malaysian Association of Applied Linguistics (MAAL), an affiliate of the International Association of Applied Linguistics (AILA), and the Treasurer of the AILA 2024 World Congress.

IBRAHIM, Muhammad Shazril I. is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya. He is a registered Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia and Engineers Australia, and a registered Graduate Technologist with MBOT. He is a past awardee of  the AUN-SEED Net JICA Scholarship Program where he received his M.Eng degree at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, an alumnus of the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia for his Doctoral Degree in Coastal Engineering  and a past recipient of the UQ Candidature Development Award where he had an industrial engagement with the Department of Irrigation and Drainage, Malaysia for several national-interest projects such as Kuala Pahang River Mouth Project, Centralised GIS Database and Integrated Shoreline Management Plan (ISMP). His recent research interests focus on the processes of wave and swash overtopping, which include the application of positive volume flux and deficit in the freeboard scaling through a series of physical and numerical modelling works, coastal protection works, navigation analysis via GIS application, and AI application in coastal processes.

Dr. Md. Hasanuzaman is a Chartered Engineer, UK and working as Associate Professor at the UM Power Energy Dedicated Advanced Centre (UMPEDAC), Higher Institution Centre of Excellence (HICoE), Universiti Malaya (UM), Malaysia. He was listed among the World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University & Elsevier since 2020 to 2024; Top 4 Scientists in Malaysia (Energy Engineering), Engineering & Technology, AD Scientific Index 2025. He is recipient of AUA Scholars Award 2023-2024, Excellence Bangladeshi Academician Award 2024, Universiti Malaya Excellent Service Awrad 2023, Universiti Malaya Excellent Service Certificate 2021. Dr. Hasan served as the Programme Coordinator Master of Renewable Energy, Double Degree Programme with Master of Energy Science, Kyoto University, Japan from April 2012 to September 2020. He earned his PhD and an M. Eng. Sc. from the University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia and a B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh. He is a recipient of UM Excellence Award 2012 for his outstanding achievement in his PhD; merit Scholarship from Bangladesh Scholarship Council and Nippon Foundation, Japan in 2003-2004. Dr. Hasan’s research interests include Thermal Engineering, Renewable Energy, Solar Thermal, Energy and Buildings, Energy Policy, Electric and Hydrogen Vehicles, Sustainability and Carbon Pricing. He is an Associate Editor of the Alexandria Engineering Journal, Elsevier; Guest Editor of Renewable Energy. His 2 books: (1) Technologies for Solar Thermal Energy, 2022 and (2) Energy for Sustainable Development, 2020 published by Elsevier.
