Dr. Marina Jokim Robert is a senior nursing academic and healthcare leader with over 25 years of experience in clinical practice, nursing education, and hospital administration. She currently serves as Senior Lecturer at Universiti Malaya, contributing to the advancement of nursing and professional practice. Her career encompasses senior leadership roles, including Director of Nursing at Jesselton Medical Centre and Assistant Director of Nursing at Bukit Tinggi Medical Centre, where she led quality improvement, policy development, and strategic workforce initiatives. A certified MSQH Surveyor and breastfeeding counsellor, Dr. Marina has championed evidence-based practice, communication excellence, and hospital accreditation readiness. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Universiti Sains Malaysia, a Master’s in Nursing, and a Bachelor of Nursing Science with Honours. Dr. Marina is dedicated to shaping future generations of nurses and elevating healthcare standards in Malaysia.

DR. MARINI NURBANUM MOHAMAD is presently a senior lecturer in the Department of Decision Science at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Universiti Malaya. She obtained her PhD degree from Cranfield University, United Kingdom in the area of global supply chain management, focusing on framework development to improve global sourcing strategy implementation. She has a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Universiti Malaya. Throughout her academic career she has developed her research interests in the areas of supply chain management, global sourcing and operations management. She has published and presented her research work in various journals and conferences locally and internationally, including United Kingdom, New Zealand, Netherlands, and Spain. To date, she is also actively involved in consultancy projects with government agencies and private organisations.

She graduated BDS (Malaya) 1991, obtained Fellowship in Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of England (1998) after an Oral Maxillofacial Residency; trained at University of Hong Kong, obtained MOrth (Hong Kong) 2005, MOrth, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (2006), and FDS RCSEd (2015). She served at Universiti Malaya from 2000, currently Head of AOBRRG research group and past Head of Department of Paediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics for 4 years. She has 28 ISI-indexed and 2 Scopus publications. Having supervised 14 postgraduate and 13 undergraduate research projects to completion, with 7 on-going research projects (3 international), her research scope includes growth modification with functional appliances, dentofacial deformities, clear aligners, sleep apnea, and stem cell. She has various national and international industrial and external research group collaborations. She reviews for 9 international ISI journals and 4 national journals, is panel for Malaysian Dental Council, Professional Qualifying Examination and has reviewed for National Specialist Registration for Orthodontic specialists. She is part of the UMRG grant panel review. She is external examiner for Royal Colleges of England and Glasgow, MOrth Part II and MFDS, Master and PhD postgraduate programs at IIUM, UiTM, Universiti Malaya.
