PROF. DR. ZAHARAH BINTI HUSSIN

    Dr. Zaharah Hussin is a Professor in the Department of Educational Foundation and Humanities, Faculty of Education, Universiti  Malaya (UM) born in Kedah. Prior to that, she was a secondary school teacher, SLAB tutor, lecturer and senior lecturer at UM. She is also a person who is also entrusted with administrative duties at UM since she started working as a lecturer in 1997 until now, starting from as the coordinator of Teaching Training, Head of Department and was the Deputy Dean (Higher Degree) in her Faculty. Her academic expertise is in the field of teacher training and educational research especially Islamic Education, Curriculum, Values ​​and Akhlak Education, philosophy in education, content analysis, Delphi techniques in research, model development and qualitative research in general. Dr. Zaharah is also active in publishing articles in national and international journals, academic books and presentations in conferences and webinars. Her book published by UM publisher entitled Akhlak  Education: Curriculum Analysis and Design was awarded the National Book Award 2018 Education category by the National Book Development Foundation in conjunction with the Book Fair 2018. He has also contributed teachers, researchers and experts particularly in Islamic Education field locally and internationally.

DR. NUR AFIQAH BINTI MOHD SALLEH

Dr. Nur Afiqah's research examines institutional-related structures associated with engagement in healthcare, including HIV and Hepatitis C care for people who use drugs (PWUD). This epidemiological work is informed by sociological perspectives which frame the research questions within a wider social, economic and policy environment. Additionally, she has received training in Implementation Science at Yale University.  Being an active member of the Centre of Excellence for Research in AIDS (CERiA), her current research activities have incorporated a community-based participiatory research (CBPR) component. Using this approach, she engages with local communities of PWUD and NGOs that serve these populations, whose collective views in the design and implementation of health programs are key in developing effective interventions. Additionally, she is actively involved in knowledge-transfer activities, promoting the use of evidence-based practices in real-life settings. She is also interested in drug policies, especially the impact of existing policies on youths and families.  Dr Nur Afiqah is a consultant for WHO, UNDP and International Drug Policy Consortium (IDPC). She currently serves as the Vice President at the Malaysian AIDS Council.

DR. NUR FAUZIANI BINTI ZAINUL ABIDIN

Dr. Nur Fauziani earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from University of Otago, New Zealand in 2012. She then pursued postgraduate training and achieved a Master's in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology) from Universiti Malaya in 2021. She is now a dental lecturer in the Faculty of Dentstry, Universiti Malaya. Dr. Nur Fauziani is an active committee member of the Malaysian Association of Oral Maxillofacial Pathology and Medicine (MAOPM) and Malaysian Society Of Oral Microbiologists & Oral Immunologists (MYSOMOI). She is also a member of Oral Cancer Research and Coordination Center (OCRCC). Her main areas of expertise include oral mucosal ulcerations, orofacial pain, and oral potentially malignant disorders. She is passionate in managing patients with oro-facial pain and oral lesions as well as actively enhancing her knowledge in health digitization. She is also interested in multidisciplinary based researches (dental public health,paediatric dentistry and dental education She is currently teaching degree, master clinical and doctor clinical students.
