Danny Wong Tze Ken is Professor of History at the Department of History, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Universiti Malaya where he teaches history of Southeast Asia and History of China. His research interests include the Chinese in Malaysia, China’s relations with Southeast Asia and History of Sabah. He is currently Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Universiti Malaya. He was Director of Global Planning & Strategy Centre, Universiti Malaya and former Director of the Institute of China Studies and former Head of the Malaysian Chinese Research Centre at the same university. He was Visiting Professor at Peking University (2018). He was also Visiting Yip (China) Fellow at Magdalene College, Cambridge University (2017-2018); Visiting Scholar at the Hakka College, National Central University, Taiwan (2017); and Visiting Professor at the Center for Integrated Area Studies, Kyoto University (2010). Professor Wong is a Member of the Board of Governors, Chinese Heritage Centre, Singapore and Council Member of the Malaysian Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society Member of the Board of Trustees, SEASREP Foundation, and a former Chairman of the UNESCO Southeast Asian Shared-History Textbook Technical Committee.  Among his publications are: The Kinabalu Guerrillas and the 1943 Jesselton Uprising (2020), Chinese Studies in Malaysia and Singapore in a Global Context (2019), One Crowded Moment of Glory: The Kinabalu Guerrillas and the 1943 Jesselton Uprising (2019), The Diaries of G.C. Sharifah Basirah Syed Mushin, who graduated from the University of Malaya (Bachelor's, Master's degree and Phd (2017) is currently the Senior Lecturer at the Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya, Malaysia working in the Department of Aqidah and Islamic Thought. Dr. Sharifah Basirah broad academic and research interests involve Sufism, Islamic Psychospiritual, Islamic Psychotherapy, and Islamic Ethics. She has produced in publications including books, articles in books, articles in journals, short articles in mass media, and, conference proceedings that were presented nationally and internationally. To impart the outputs of Islamic Psychospiritual and Psychotherapy to the relevant communities, Dr. Sharifah Basirah has been invited to facilitate the training of the trainers (ToT) workshops and intervention sessions that are usually organized by the government such as JAKIM, Malaysian Ministry of Health, state religious councils and departments, non-governmental organizations, and the public. She has been involved in committees and has been appointed as an expert panel, among others in Management Committee obtained several certificates as a certified practitioner such as Psychological First Aid and Mental Health Coach.

Dr. Siti Patonah binti Mohamad is a senior lecturer at the Applied Science with Islamic Studies Programme, Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya. She holds a PhD (Humanities (Religion)) from Universiti Malaya and has a Master of Islamic Studies (MIs) from the same institution. She also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science with Islamic Studies (Biohealth) with Honors from Universiti Malaya. Dr. Siti Patonah's research interests primarily focus on neurodivergent individuals, specifically persons with autism (PWA), and the mental health of PWA's caretakers. Her research integrates Islamic principles and practices to better understand and support this marginalized group. For example, she studies the Quranic reading style of PWA and works on developing a biopsychosocialspiritual model of coping for Muslim parents of PWA to help them handle their stress. She is also interested in multidisciplinary research, particularly in areas such as Islam and Science, as well as Islamic psychology. Dr. Siti Patonah has contributed to the field by publishing several articles related to her studies and has received awards in seminars and conferences she has attended. In addition to her research activities, she is actively involved in teaching both foundation and degree-level students, sharing her expertise and knowledge in her areas of study. Dr. Siti Patonah's work demonstrates a commitment to bridging the gap between Islamic principles and scientific research to improve the lives of individuals with autism and their families.
