Dr. Hanira Hanafi is currently an associate professor at the Department of Shariah and Law, Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya. She holds a PhD in Islamic Finance from the Durham University UK (2012) and Master of Comparative Law (2003) and Bachelor of Law (2002) from International Islamic University Malaysia. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2004. Her research interest lies broadly in the area of Islamic Finance, law and public policy particularly related to Digital Economy and Person with Disabilities. She has also published numerous articles in national and international journals on those areas. She has also contributed in term of administration as a Deputy Director of Ungku Aziz Centre for Development Studies from 2017 until 2019.
show more »Dr Mahar Diana binti Hamid is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya. Her areas of research interest include Safety, Health and Environment (SHE), Indoor Air Quality, combustion technology, process safety and risk engineering, inherent safety and risk management. She has also served as a safety consultant to the Department of Occupational Safety and Health, Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia. She has co-authored two book chapters and over 50 research articles in peer-reviewed journals and conferences on combustion air emissions, process safety, risk, and reliability engineering.
show more »Dr. Zarina Zakaria is an Associate Professor at the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Business & Economics, University of Malaya. She received her PhD of Business & Management from the Nottingham University Business School, United Kingdom, in 2011. She obtained her Masters of Business Administration (Accountancy) from the University of Malaya, and her Bachelor in Accountancy from Cardiff Business School, United Kingdom. She is currently the Audit & Risk Management Committee of Pelaburan Mara Berhad and the Chairperson for the Board of Trustee of the Malaysian Accountancy Research and Education Foundation (MAREF) as well as a member of the Interpretations Committee for the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (MASB). She is also a member of MICPA Education & Technical Committee since 2017. She is an associate member of MICPA, MIA and ACCA and during her tenure as the MIA Council, she sat in various Committees including MIA Disciplinary Committee, MIA Examination Committee and the MIA Audit & Risk Management Committee. She has published numerous articles and book chapters in her area of expertise including in the Accounting Forum and Management Decision. Her research interests include sustainability, accountability, and governance.
