DR. KARSHINI A/P JEYA PIRATHABA

Dr. Karshini has a deep passion for diagnostic microbiology and parasitology. After earning her Master’s in Pathology (Microbiology) in 2022, she gained experience as a medical microbiologist at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Hospital Queen Elizabeth in Kota Kinabalu. Her interests focus on diagnostic tools and technologies that can identify pathogens causing parasitic illnesses in laboratories. In December 2023, she joined the Department of Parasitology, University Malaya.  Currently, Dr. Karshini is a medical lecturer in the Department of Parasitology at the University of Malaya and the coordinator of the Parasitology Diagnostic Unit at the University Malaya Medical Centre.

DR. NOR EEZA BINTI ZAINAL ABIDIN

Dr. Nor Eeza Zainal Abidin is a sports management lecturer at the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Science, Universiti Malaya. Her background is in accounting, public administration and sports management and she has more than 12 years working experience in sports services across several private companies and public universities in Malaysia. Her research interests are related to sociology of sports, management and sustainability. She is currently involved in research related to sports facilities including accessibility for persons with disabilities, social challenges of physical fitness for autistic swimmers, and female sport students as future leaders.  Nor Eeza is an active sportsperson and has represented the country in softball and floorball.

MADAM NOOR ASYIKEEN MOHD SALLEH

Noor Asyikeen Mohd Salleh, LL.B. (Hons.) IIUM, Master in Intellectual Property (UKM), has joined the Faculty of Law of University of Malaya as a Lecturer. Prior to joining academia, she was in practice as a conveyancing lawyer at Messrs Iza Ng Yeoh & Kit for 7 years. Her area of interests are conveyancing practice, land acquisition, intellectual property and land law. Being a passionate researcher and academic, she has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented papers in conferences. She also had received a Faculty Research Grant of RM5,000.00 on 11th August 2020 to fund the study on “Land Acquisition in Peninsular Malaysia: Empirical Study On Striking the Right Balance Between Public and Private Interests.
