Dr Ahmad Syadi is an Associate Professor and Senior Consultant Cardiologist.

He is active in research and has published extensively in the field of cardiology as well as being involved in many investigator initiated and industry driven clinical trials.

He has received many recognitions for his contributions in cardiology by international and local governing bodies:

1. Fellowship of National Heart Asscociation of Malaysia (FNAHM)
2. Fellowship of the Asean Federation of Cardiology (FAsCC)
3. Fellowship of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC)
4. Fellowship of the American College of Cardiology (FACC)
5. Fellowship of Society of Cardiovascular Angiography & Intervention (FSCAI)

He has been appointed in various national and international key positions. His recent appointments are as below:

1. Chairman of the Malaysian Society of Atherosclerosis (2024-2027)
2. Chairman of the Malaysian NCVD-ACS Steering Committee (2022-2025)
3. Council Member of the National Heart Association Malaysia (NHAM) (2024-2027)
4. Council Member of the Asia Pacific Society of Atherosclerosis and Vascular Disease (APSAVD) (2024-2025)
5. Organising Chair of the Asia Pacific Society of Atherosclerosis and Vascular Disease Congress (APSAVD) 2023
6. Scientific Chair of the Malaysian Live Interventional Cardiology Conference 2023
7. Clinical Practice guideline in Dyslipidaemia writting committee 2023

Dr Ahmad Syadi is also active in undergraduate and postgraduate teachings. He has produced many PhD and Master graduates under his supervision.
