Biography | |
Dr. Siti Soraya Abdul Rahman is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology. She was appointed as a programme leader for ALEPS (Adaptive Learning Environment for Problem Solving) under the Innovative Technology Research Cluster. Previously, she was the Head of Augmented Human Learning Programme, under the Humanities Research Cluster, University of Malaya. She graduated with a Bachelor degree in Information Technology from University of Glamorgan, UK in 1998 and received a Master degree in Computer Science from University of Malaya in 2003. She was conferred with a PhD in Cognitive Science from University of Sussex, UK in 2012. Her current research interests are in the area of Machine Learning and Deep Learning; Data Science (predictive analytics, data analytics, text analytics, and sentiment analysis); Cognitive Science (cognition and programming; physics problem solving); Artificial Intelligence in Education; E-learning and Expert System. |
