Dr. Noor Hanita Zaini is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Nursing Science, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing Science from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and a Master of Nursing Science and PhD from Universiti Malaya. With a strong clinical background in coronary care and emergency nursing, she brings a strong practice-based perspective to nursing education and research. With over 16 years of academic experience, Dr. Noor Hanita has contributed extensively to curriculum development, programme evaluation, and postgraduate supervision. She actively serves as a peer reviewer for national and international nursing and health science journals, as well as an external examiner for nursing and health-related programmes. Her current grant-funded research focuses on early screening and prevention of diabetes risk among adolescents through physical activity interventions, green and sustainable nursing practices in healthcare education, and technology-enhanced nursing and patient education. Her work supports evidence-based practice and community-focused health promotion.
