Biography | |
Dr. Mahmoud Danaee is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Social Preventive Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya. Specializing in biostatistics and biotechnology, Dr. Danaee has been served as a faculty member at Islamic Azad University in Iran since 1998. His previous roles include serving as the General Director of the IT Department at the National Youth Organization from 2000 to 2004 and as a member of the scientific board at the Iranian Rural Development Institute. With over 25 years of experience as a statistician, Dr. Danaee has extensive expertise in instructing undergraduate and graduate students across various areas, including statistics, experimental design, advanced statistical methods, and research methodology. He has led numerous workshops and seminars in both Iran and Malaysia on topics such as design of Experiments (RSM), Structural Equation Modeling (AMOS & Smart-PLS), and both basic and advanced statistical methods using SPSS. From 2016 to 2018, Dr. Danaee managed the Research Methodology and Statistics Help Clinic (ReSH) at the Academic Enhancement and Leadership Development Centre (ADeC) and later from 2019 to 2022 at the Research Management Center (RMC) , Faculty of Medicine, providing scientific support to postgraduate students and academic staff across 14 faculties at UM with their research needs and analysis. |
