DR. NOOR HANITA BINTI ZAINI

Dr. Noor Hanita Zaini is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Nursing Science in the Faculty of Medicine at Universiti Malaya. Her academic journey encompasses attaining a BNSc degree in Nursing from Universiti Putra Malaysia, a Master of Nursing Science from Universiti Malaya, and successfully completing her PhD at Universiti Malaya. She possesses experience in coronary care and emergency medicine. Throughout her academic career spanning over 14 years, she has made significant contributions to both teaching and research, including curriculum development and review for undergraduate and master programs, as well as serving as an external examiner for various programs. Her research interests encompass mixed-method studies, cardiovascular and respiratory nursing, mobile health, technology in education, and renal education. Her ongoing research project is an exploratory study of nursing students' perceptions of gender equality in a nursing institution, Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice of nurses toward disaster preparedness, as well as an investigation into the relationship between warfarin adherence and quality of life among newly diagnosed patients undergoing warfarin therapy at tertiary cardiac institutions.
