Dr. Noor Hanita Zaini is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Nursing Science, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc) from Universiti Putra Malaysia, a Master of Nursing Science, and a PhD, both awarded by Universiti Malaya. With clinical expertise in coronary care and emergency nursing, she brings a strong practice-based foundation to her academic role. Over a distinguished academic career spanning more than 16 years, Dr. Noor Hanita has made substantial contributions to nursing education and research. She has played a key role in curriculum development and program evaluation for both undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programs. Her commitment to academic excellence is further demonstrated through her active engagement as a peer reviewer for reputable journals and as an external examiner for nursing program. Her research portfolio reflects a multidisciplinary and innovative approach, focusing on mixed-methods methodologies, cardiovascular and respiratory nursing, mobile health (mHealth), technology-enhanced learning, and renal nursing education. Currently, she involved several impactful research initiatives, including studies on green sustainability in healthcare education, nursing students’ perceptions of gender equality within academic institutions, nurses’ knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding disaster preparedness, and an in-depth exploration of the relationship between warfarin adherence and quality of life among newly diagnosed patients in tertiary cardiac care settings. Through her research and efforts in strengthening nursing education, Dr. Noor Hanita has contributed to advancing evidence-based practice and is held in high regard by her peers for her dedication to academia and nursing
