Shukriah Che Kasim memulakan pendidikan awal di Sekolah Kok Pasir seterusnya peringkat menengah di Maahad Muhammadi Tumpat. Telah mendapat anugerah Ijazah Sarjana Muda Bahasa Arab dengan kepujian dari Universiti Al Azhar, Iskandariah, Mesir pada tahun 1999. Pada tahun 2007 telah mendapat Ijazah Sarjana dari Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia dalam bidang yang sama. Dr. Mohamad Zaihan Bin Zailan is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Glami Lemi Biotechnology Research Centre, Universiti Malaya.
