PROF. DR. POR LIP YEE @ POR KHOON SUN

Lip Yee Por is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. A Senior Member of IEEE, he is a recognized expert in security and machine learning. His research interests include AI, deep learning, support vector machines (SVM), IoT, authentication, computer vision, blockchain, cryptography, steganography, and watermarking. He has authored over 120 SCI/SCIE/SSCI-indexed journal papers and has secured more than RM 7 million in competitive research funding as Principal Investigator. Prof. Por’s impactful contributions have earned him numerous national and international awards, and he is consistently recognized as one of the top-rated lecturers at FCSIT. In addition to his research and teaching excellence, he serves as Associate Editor for Frontiers in Public Health, Frontiers in Computer Science, and the Malaysian Journal of Computer Science, as well as Guest Editor for Applied Sciences. He is also an Editorial Board Member for CMC–Computers, Materials & Continua and a member of the Editorial Review Board for Technology in Cancer Research & Treatment (TCRT), a SAGE journal. Prof. Por has held key leadership roles in national and international conferences as Program Chair, Technical Chair, and Local Chair, and serves as an external academic assessor for academic programs at TARUC, MMU, HELP, APU, and FIRST CITY UNIVERSITY COLLEGE. To date, he has delivered more than 20 keynote and invited speeches at national and international conferences.

DR. TAN KIM KEE

Dr. Kim-Kee Tan received her Ph.D. and training in molecular virology at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya. Currently, she serves as Senior Lecturer at the Tropical Infectious Diseases Research and Education Centre (TIDREC), Universiti Malaya and the Department of Biomedical Science, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya. Her research focuses on emerging viral pathogens, integrating genomic and bioinformatic approaches to investigate virus emergence, evolution, and transmission across human, animal, vector, and environmental interfaces. Her work engages new research technologies, such as Next Generation Sequencing (NGS). Besides that, she is also a trainer for biosafety and biosecurity training; hence she has vast experience designing workflow and handling different types of pathogens. She has a strong interest in genomic surveillance and pandemic preparedness, with projects spanning viral discovery, phylogenetics, and molecular epidemiology.

ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. NOOR ADWA BINTI SULAIMAN

Associate Professor Dr. Noor Adwa's research investigates the convergence of auditing, governance, and financial reporting, employing qualitative methods (interviews) and quantitative approaches (archives and surveys), alongside diverse theoretical frameworks (institutional, legitimacy, power, attribution, and agency). Her research covers subjects such as digitalisation (audit data analytics and artificial intelligence), sustainability assurance, the efficacy of audit committees and other boards, audit quality, the effectiveness of internal audits, external audit legislation, and auditor reporting. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed research articles and co-authored books and book chapters. Her work aims to advance the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure; SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions; and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals.
