Biography | |
Obtained her Doctoral degree in literature from the Academy of Malay Studies, University of Malaya. She also possesses an MA in World Literature from the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, University Putra Malaysia and a BA in English language and literature from the International Islamic University Malaysia. Her areas of expertise include Postcolonial literature, mimicry, Malay identity, Malayness and Nationalism in Malay literature and Malaysian literature in English. She has also published articles on language studies, education and leadership skills. Her teaching experiences include foundation, diploma, degree, Intensive English Program, CALL and IELTS, TOEFL and MUET preparation courses. She has taught various courses such as English for academic purposes, Technical Writing, Mastering English, Listening and Speaking, Reading and Writing and English literature for IGCSE. |
