In Malaysia's social work landscape, his current professional appointments include as the current Vice-President of Malaysian Association of Social Workers (MASW) and as a Panel Assessor for Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) for the social work field. His background features leadership experience including previous tenures as Deputy Dean (Academics), Director of the Research Management Centre (RMC), and Academic Support Specialist for Persons with Disabilities in previous universities.
