BIOGRAPHY

A dedicated social work educator with research Interests in disability studies (mainly on mental and learning category under Malaysia's Disability Act 2008), mental health, coping mechanisms, and social work case management. In Malaysia's social work landscape, his current professional appointments include as the current Vice-President of Malaysian Association of Social Workers (MASW) and as a Panel Assessor for Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) for the social work field. His background features leadership experience including previous tenures as Deputy Dean (Academics), Director of the Research Management Centre (RMC), and Academic Support Specialist for Persons with Disabilities in previous universities. Deeply committed to empowering vulnerable populations and advancing the standards of social work practice and education throughout Malaysia.
