Dr. Seuk Wai PHOONG is an Associate Professor in the Department of Decision Science, Faculty of Business and Economics, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. She is a member of the Malaysian Mathematical Science Society (PERSAMA). Her research interests include applied statistics, econometrics, time series analysis, bibliometric analysis, and education. She has led 8 research projects out of 24 research grants. She has published papers in various WoS and Scopus journals, such as Sage Open, Artificial Intelligence Review, Humanities and Social Science, Mathematics, International Journal of Mobile Communications, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, Energies, Symmetry, Journal of Psychoactive Drugs, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, etc. She is also an academic editor for several journals, including PLOS One, Asian Journal of Business and Accounting, and SAGE Open. She teaches Business Statistics and Quantitative Analysis for Business at the undergraduate level; Research Methodology, Statistical Analysis, and Operational Research at the postgraduate level.
show more »Dr. Noor Ismawati Jaafar is a Professor in Information Systems at the Department of Decision Science, Faculty of Business and Economics. She held various administrative positions including Director of the Graduate School of Business, Deputy Dean (Research) and Head of Department. She obtained Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), from Macquarie University. She holds a professional qualification as Certified Financial Accountant (CFiA) from the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). She teaches core courses related to Information Systems and Research Methodology. She has completed supervising eleven (11) Doctoral students and thirty three (33) Master students at Master levels. She has led consultancies involving projects such as the National Broadband Initiatives, Case Studies on COVID-19 Vaccination Roll-out Programme and the Economic Enhancement Programmes for MRT3. Her main research areas are IT governance, IT management, human computer interactions, and IT adoption. She has been appointed as Visiting Professor and Adjunct Professor at Aoyama Business School, Universitas Diponegoro, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Universitas Brawijaya, Universitas Negeri Malang and Prince of Songkla University (Trang). She was appointed as mentor for the APRU Asia-Pacific Women in Leadership Mentoring Program (APWiL). As a public intellectual, she hopes to profess her views on societal impact of technologies.
show more »Dr Siti Adibah Othman qualified as Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2000. She completed her Clinical Doctorate in Dental Surgery in Orthodontic at the University of Bristol and obtained her Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeon of Edinburgh in 2005. Having obtained the qualifications, she was appointed as Senior Lecturer at Department of Paediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics in Faculty of Dentistry, University of Malaya from 2006 to 2011 and was appointed as Associate Professor in 2012. She obtained her full Professorship in 2019. She was the Head of Department of Paediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, the coordinator of the postgraduate orthodontic programme and currently is the Deputy Dean of the Postgraduate. She is actively involved in teaching of the undergraduates, postgraduates, reviewing of the curriculums and also actively treating orthodontic patients at the University of Malaya and at the University Malaya Specialist Centre. Besides that, she is also doing research and has published a few research papers in academic journals. Her areas of interest are orthodontics, clinical research, cleft lip and palate abnormalities and 3D imaging. She is member of World Federation of Orthodontists, Malaysian Association of Orthodontists, Malaysian Dental Association and the life member of the Cleft Lip and Palate Association of Malaysia. In 2013, she was awarded Membership in Orthodontics Ad Eundem from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and being appointed as an examiner for the Membership of Orthodontics Examination of the Royal College of Surgeons of England for overseas diet.
