Dr. Mohd Fairuz Zamani (better known as Fairuz Zamani) is currently attached to the Faculty of Creative Arts, Universiti Malaya (UM) as an academic.His current research interest is within the realm of music compositions by Malaysian contemporary composers and establishing musical frameworks for the works by these composers.  Apart from academic work, Dr. Fairuz writes music for various occasions. He has been a member of the Malaysian Composers Collective since 2022. Under this organization, he premiered Phrygian Fantasy (2023), Kenyalang Rhapsody (2022), and Two Miniatures (2022). During his time with Koir Kebangsaan Malaysia and Permata Seni Koir as the resident arranger, he composed two works commissioned by the Department of Culture and Arts of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture (MOTAC) - Nuance of Rebab Fantasy (2013) and Mek Mulung Cycle (2018), in addition to countless music arrangements for choir with piano or orchestral accompaniment for various concerts. Dr. Fairuz continues to write choir arrangements for performances and competitions, and many of his arrangements have been sung by national and international award-winning choirs.  Dr. Fairuz is also an active performer and adjudicator. Among notable recent performances were Music of Johan Othman and Razak Aziz (2023), Pini di Roma (2023), and The Carnival of the Animals (2022) with the National Symphony Orchestra of Malaysia, and Beethoven's 250th Birthday Celebration Concert at the German Embassy Kuala Lumpur (2021). Recently, Dr. Fairuz adjudicated the MAME Folksong Festival (Piano category) and the 2nd China-ASEAN Music and Arts Cultural Exchange in 2024.

Dr. Aqsa Isa is a Senior Lecturer based in the Department of English Language, Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, Universiti Malaya (UM), Malaysia and Research Associate at Rabdan Academy, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).Her teaching and scholarly interests are focused on the areas of Critical Discourse Studies, Social Semiotics and Multimodality. She is interested in multidisciplinary work and research involving (violent) extremism and (de) radicalisation, especially on social media, as well as religion and politics, among others. As a linguist, she has looked at various violent extremist and far right propaganda materials, exploring and understanding the ideologies and linguistic strategies used to garner support and attract potential followers. She is also exploring the recruitment, radicalisation as well as the reintegration processes, in which she has worked closely with former detainees, their family members and various local and international agencies. In addition, Dr. Aqsa has been invited as a speaker and resource person in various Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (PCVE) programmes by agencies such as the Southeast Asia Regional Centre for Counter-Terrorism (SEARCCT), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs (Security Division), Malaysian public universities, civil society organisations, the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the SEA Women Peacebuilders Network.  Currently, she is also the faculty's student mobility coordinator. Her main responsibilities include designing and implementing student mobility programs, promoting and recruiting students, providing support throughout the mobility experience, coordinating communication, and evaluating program effectiveness. Her goal is to enhance students' international experiences, promote cultural exchange, and contribute to their personal and academic development. Dr Ramesh Kasi graduated PhD from University of Malaya in 2007. His research interests focus with emphasis on electrochemistry applications in polymer materials which are used in energy storage systems and corrosion protection. He joined as Senior Lecturer in Physics Department in 2010 and got promoted as Associate Professor in 2017. He is teaching undergraduate and postgraduate level students. 22 PhD and 23 MSc have been graduated under the guidance of Dr Ramesh and currently 11 PhD and 2 Master degree students are pursuing their studies under his supervision. He has served in many administrative positions as Programme Coordinator, Treasurer for the Centre for Ionics University of Malaya, Course file coordinator, Curriculum Review Committee for MSc Applied Physics and Industrial Training Coordinator. He has published more than 230 research papers in high ranked journals having 6178 citations and H-index of 43. He has been successful in securing substantial funds for research from University of Malaya (UMRG and UMRP) and Malaysian government funding agencies (FRGS), international funding like Erasmus+, Nippon Sheet Glass Foundation. He has got 2 Malaysian patent granted and 2 patent filed for his credit. He is also a senior member in leading professional associations. Dr Ramesh has been elected as the Fellow in Royal Society of Chemistry (UK) and Institute of Materials Malaysia. He has received several awards and medals in participating international technological expo including ITEX, MTE, PECIPTA, IRIISE and BioMalaysia. He won Tun Lim Keng Yaik Award for best invention in technology reversing climate change (ITEX 2023), WINNER – category 1 - Gold Award - International Borneo Innovation, Exhibition & Competition 2023 (IBIEC 2023), Automotive Excellent Award (1st Place)- 12th Creation, Innovation, Technology & Research Exposition (CITREX 2022), Gold Award, and Best Award, AIIREX 2022, ASIAN INVENTION EXCELLENCE AWARD, ITEX 2021, Automotive Special Award – 1st Place- CITREX 2021, Special Award - MTE 2020 - Croatia Inova, Malaysian Technology Expo, 2020, Professional Special Award - International Research Innovation, Invention & Solution Exposition (IRIISE 2018), International Eureka Innovation Exhibition (iEIE 2017) Best Award in “Environmental Protection and Renewable Energy” category, CHAMPION – RM 50,000 Project Award, UTP Innovation Competition in conjunction with UTP 20th Year Anniversary Celebration, "The Best Award" in Malaysian Technology Expo (MTE 2016)- BioPE-DSSC: Biopolymer Electrolyte Based Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells as Green Energy Source, Best Poster presentation ICFMD 2015, ITEX 2015 and Best Invention Award, Pecipta 2013 Gold Medal, Best of the Best Award in Electrical and Electronics Category. He has been awarded as the Best Reviewer of the year 2015 by Emerald Publications. He has involved in organizing international conferences (ICFMD 2013, 2015, 2019, 2021 Solar Asia 2013, CoMSE 2023. and international advisory committee in many international conferences) and participated as panel of judges in national science fair for children. Dr. Ramesh has been invited as keynote, plenary and invited speaker in various international conferences throughout the world. He has been awarded as Excellent Service Certificate in 2018 at University of Malaya.
