I have over ten years of experience in psychiatry under Malaysia’s Ministry of Health; having served in tertiary hospitals across both Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo Island gave me the opportunity to manage clients from diverse sociocultural backgrounds. At the University of Malaya, my work focuses on advancing treatment strategies for mood disorders, with a particular focus on neurostimulation techniques. In collaboration with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, we have successfully integrated transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) into clinical practice, resulting in measurable improvements in patient outcomes. My active involvement with the Clinical TMS Society and the Asian Special Interest Council (CTMSS) has expanded my professional network and deepened my commitment to the field of brain stimulation. Additionally, I have completed a formal TMS certification course in the United States to further strengthen both my clinical expertise and academic contributions to this rapidly evolving discipline.
