DR. WANG KAH LUN presently serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya. He earned first-class honors in Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Universiti Malaya in 2016, followed by the completion of his Master of Science in Mathematics at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2018. Continuing his academic journey, he pursued a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics at Universiti Malaya, successfully obtaining his degree in 2023. Since obtaining his Ph.D., he has been actively involved in research focused on the intricate domain of group theory. Dr. Wang's primary research interest lies in the field of group theory, a branch of abstract algebra. His scholarly endeavors concentrate on the analysis of group factorizations, with a particular emphasis on complete decompositions and complete factorizations of groups, marking significant contributions to the field.
show more »Muhammad Kashani MOHD KAMIL, born in 1984, is a distinguished medical professional with a comprehensive educational background in medicine and sports medicine. He graduated with his medical degree from Universitas Sumatera Utara in 2011. Furthering his expertise, he obtained a postgraduate Master of Sports Medicine from Universiti Malaya in 2022. Currently, he serves as a medical lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya, while also practicing as a Sports Physician at the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre. Additionally, he is a qualified Occupational Health Doctor. His area of interests are Sports Cardiology, Sports Emergency and eSports. Outside of his professional endeavors, he is an avid sports enthusiast, actively participating in rugby, futsal, and soccer. His medical contributions to rugby are recognized through his attainment of a Level 2 Immediate Care certification from the Malaysia Rugby Union. He has also demonstrated his leadership and organizational skills by successfully hosting and winning several prestigious futsal tournaments.
show more »Daniel Chow Ung T’chiang (PhD) is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, Universiti Malaya. He was the former Deputy Dean (Research, 2022) and former Deputy Dean (Research and Development, 2020-2022). His areas of interest include English for Specific Purposes and Critical Genre Analysis. He is currently involved in research projects on Professional Discourses and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Daniel is the Treasurer of the Malaysian Association of Applied Linguistics (MAAL), an affiliate of the International Association of Applied Linguistics (AILA), and the Treasurer for the AILA2024 Congress.
