I am a full time Professor at the Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya. I received PhD from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom in the field of Neuroscience. I am a trained Human Anatomist and have been teaching Gross and Clinical Anatomy to hundreds of undergraduate Medical (MBBS Year 1 & 2 ), Dental (BDS Year 1), and postgraduate surgical students (Master of Surgery & Master of ENT) and Dental postgraduates (MClintDent) for more than 30 years. I have wide experience in teaching Human Anatomy using human cadavers, plastinated specimens, models, online and hybrid methods.   My main area of research is neural regeneration focusing on axonal mechanisms and extracellular matrix molecules related to regeneration processes in both the peripheral and central nervous systems. My research group is also involved in exploring natural products that can improve neural regeneration, and those which can enhance learning and memory. My other research interests include Cognitive Neuroscience aspects of Anatomical Education focusing in Cognitive Loads, Clinical Anatomy and Dental Implants. I have presented our work at many local and international conferences and published in many international indexed peer-reviewed journals. I have served as a reviewer for numerous journals and supervised many Master and PhD students.   In addition, on the administration side I have served as the Head, Department of Anatomy over many years at Faculty of Medicine,University of Malaya.   I hold membership at various societies including The Oxford and Cambridge Society Malaysia, Malaysian Society of Neurosciences and Malaysian Anatomical Association.    

Yin Kia Chiam received a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of New South Wales, Australia. She is currently a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya, Malaysia. She has published in several reputable journals and conferences both locally and internationally. Her research focus is in the field of Software Engineering and Data Mining.

Dr. Norwahyuni Mohd Yusof is a Senior Lecturer at Rimba Ilmu, UM Agroforestry, Universiti Malaya (UM). She holds a Diploma in Wood Industry and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Bio-Composite Technology from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and earned her Masrer of Science and Ph.D. in Biocomposite Technology and Design from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). With over nine years of experience in research and higher education, she specializes in sustainable bio-composite, laminated bamboo and advanced material science, focusing on the development and structural performance of innovative bio-based materials for construction and manufacturing. She previously served as Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Products (INTROP), UPM, where her research centered on laminated bamboo for structural applications. Dr. Norwahyuni has published in hihg-impact journals, is proficient in Statistical Analysis System (SAS) for data analysis and contributes to national material standard development as Secretariat for the Malaysian Kenaf Grading Rules (MKGR) and actively involved in the development of the Malaysia Laminated Bamboo Standard, fostering collaboration between academia and industry while maintaining a strong commitment to quality teaching and research excellent.
