DR. MD SHAHABUDDIN AHMMAD

I have been working as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Malaya, Malaysia. I am pioneering research in energy, environment, supply chain modeling, and metallurgy, with a focus on optimization, techno-economic analysis, and lifecycle assessment. I also teach key courses in Mechanical Engineering, such as Fluid Mechanics, Heat & Mass Transfer, and Thermodynamics, while developing research grants and establishing collaborative partnerships.Previously, I worked as a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore (NUS), conducted research in the area of low-carbon technologies, particularly on hydrogen energy vectors. Before joining NUS, I completed my role as a Research Fellow at HILT-CRC and Victorian Hydrogen Hub (VH2) projects at Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. Before joining Swinburne, I worked for the Hydrogen Energy Supply Chain (HESC) project at Federation University, Australia and the Waste to Energy and Resource Recovery project at the UNSW, Sydney. I received my PhD in Chemical Engineering from Monash University with the prestigious Postgraduate Publication Award (PPA). I obtained my MPhil and bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Adelaide and DUET Bangladesh.I am consistently listed among the world's top 2.0% scientists in the subfield of energy, published by Elsevier and Stanford University since 2021. I am a certified chemical, mechanical, and material engineer from the world's top professional bodies with extensive research experience in process modelling (Aspen Plus, HYSYS and HSC Chemistry), hydrogen energy, gasification, solar energy, green iron and steel, biofuel, CFD, technoeconomics and LCA. I have published over 60 research articles, receiving over 4000 citations with an h-index of 28 (Google Scholar). Throughout my career, I have supervised dozens of research students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. DR. MURAD ABDU SAEED MOHAMMED

Dr. Murad Abdu Saeed is currently a senior lecturer in the Department of the English Language, Faculty of Language and Linguistics, Universiti Malaya. He obtained his Ph.D. in 2016 and Master Degree in 2012 from the School of English Language Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). From 2019-2024, Dr. Murad worked as an associate professor in the Department of English Language and Translation, Qassim University. Previously, he worked as a postdoctoral in the Department of the English Language, Faculty of Language and Linguistics, Universiti Malaya (2016-2018). His main research interests are applied linguistics, academic writing, educational technologies in writing, feedback, feedback dialogue and collaborative writing. His research papers appear in journals such as Language Learning & Technology, Australasian Journal of Educational Technology, Assessing Writing, International Journal of Educational Technology in Higher Education, Assessment & Evaluation in Higher Education, Innovations in Education and Teaching International, Computers & Compositions, the Language Learning Journal, Journal of Research & Method in Education and Asian Education and Development Studies.

DR. MOHD HAFYZUDDIN BIN MD YUSUF

Dr Hafyz is a lecturer at Emergency Medicine Academic Unit in Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya. Having earned his degree from Royal College of Surgeon in Ireland in 2010, he later completed his Clinical Master in Emergency Medicine in 2019 through Universiti Malaya Trainee Lecturer program. Awarded for his service excellence by UMMC in 2014 and Universiti Malaya in 2023, he currently oversees Paediatric Emergency at UMMC. With a keen interest in paediatric emergencies and emergency cardiac care, he has contributed to several studies, including the development of a Covid test kit by Seegene, Korea, and a study on emergency and trauma service in Malaysia by TXP Medical, Japan. Dr Hafyz shares his expertise on CPR on Berita TV Al-Hijrah and instructs courses in basic life support, paediatric advanced life support and advanced cardiac life support. He also proudly represents Universiti Malaya in the MAKSWIP badminton tournament.
