Suzaini M. Zaid is currently teaching at the Department of Building Surveying in the Faculty of Built Environment and was the first EcoCampus Coordinator in Universiti Malaya. Dr. Lai received his Ph.D. from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Technische Universität Ilmenau under the DAAD Ph.D. Sandwich Programme, and was conferred the prestigious Chancellor Award by the Queen of Johor. Dr Lee obtained a Japanese Government scholarship to pursue his Ph.D in Hokkaido, Japan. Upon graduation, he continued his research in marine microbial ecology in Malaysia.
