DR. NATRAH BINTI AHMAD FUAD

Dr. Natrah Ahmad Fuad is a dental lecturer specialising in Endodontics at the Department of Restorative Dentistry, Universiti Malaya. She obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from Universiti Malaya in 2017 and subsequently served as a dental officer at Klinik Pergigian Bangsar from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, she pursued postgraduate studies in endodontology and completed her Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent) in Endodontology with distinction at the Edinburgh Dental Institute, University of Edinburgh, in 2023. Dr. Natrah further advanced her qualifications by attaining the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCSEd) in 2020, the Membership in Endodontics (MEndo RCSEd) in 2023, and the Fellowship in Endodontics (FEndo RCSEd) in 2025. Her current research interests include digital endodontics, endodontic bioceramic materials, regenerative endodontics, dental trauma management, and dental education.

DR. FARIDAH BINTI CHE HUSAIN

Faridah Che Husain, is a Senior Lecturer at the Academy of Malay Studies, Universiti Malaya. She obtained all her academic qualifications from Universiti Malaya, namely a Bachelor’s Degree in Japanese studies, a Master of Arts in Civilizational Studies, and subsequently a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Islamic Studies. Her areas of expertise encompass civilizational studies, ethics, philosophy and contemporary issues, ethnic relations, as well as Malay and Islamic arts. In addition, she also examines aspects of ethics, morality, and character from an Islamic perspective, with particular emphasis on the integration of cultural and religious values within a plural society. As a scholar, she is actively engaged in academic writing, teaching, and research, adopting a multidisciplinary approach grounded in humanistic values. Her expertise not only contributes to the advancement of knowledge at the university level but also strengthens academic discourse on Malay-Islamic civilization in the global context.

DR. AZMAN BIN MA'AMOR

Dr. Azman Ma’amor is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, whose work bridges advanced materials chemistry, catalysis, and sustainable product development. His research focuses on transforming natural and industrial waste into high-value functional materials, particularly for environmental, biomedical, and cosmetic applications. Dr. Azman has established an active research portfolio in nanomaterials, heterogeneous catalysis, and photocatalytic materials, with particular emphasis on hydroxyapatite and calcium-based biomaterials derived from marine waste such as clamshells and cuttlefish bone. His work contributes to circular economy strategies by converting underutilized biowaste into sustainable materials for water treatment, biomaterials, and emerging cosmetic technologies. In recent years, he has expanded his research toward cosmetic science and advanced skincare formulations, exploring the use of naturally derived calcium compounds and functional nanomaterials for innovative skincare products. He has published 23 ISI-indexed journal articles (7 Q1, 13 Q2, 3 Q3) with an H-index of 12 and more than 370 citations, reflecting significant contributions to catalysis, nanomaterials, and environmental chemistry. Dr. Azman has also secured over RM460,000 in competitive research funding as Principal Investigator, while contributing to collaborative projects totaling over RM1.8 million in funding. His research has resulted in several innovation awards, including gold medals at international innovation competitions and the Universiti Malaya Excellent Service Award. Beyond research, Dr. Azman actively mentors postgraduate students and contributes to academic leadership at Universiti Malaya. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and translational research, he continues to advance sustainable chemistry and functional material development for environmental and cosmetic applications, aiming to translate laboratory discoveries into practical technologies and high-value products.
