Dr. Norwahyuni Mohd Yusof is a Senior Lecturer at Rimba Ilmu, UM Agroforestry, Universiti Malaya (UM). She holds a Diploma in Wood Industry and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Bio-Composite Technology from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and earned her Masrer of Science and Ph.D. in Biocomposite Technology and Design from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). With over nine years of experience in research and higher education, she specializes in sustainable bio-composite, laminated bamboo and advanced material science, focusing on the development and structural performance of innovative bio-based materials for construction and manufacturing. She previously served as Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Products (INTROP), UPM, where her research centered on laminated bamboo for structural applications. Dr. Norwahyuni has published in hihg-impact journals, is proficient in Statistical Analysis System (SAS) for data analysis and contributes to national material standard development as Secretariat for the Malaysian Kenaf Grading Rules (MKGR) and actively involved in the development of the Malaysia Laminated Bamboo Standard, fostering collaboration between academia and industry while maintaining a strong commitment to quality teaching and research excellent. |
