Prof Sanjiv Mahadeva is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and the previous Head of the Department of Medicine (2014 - 2019), University Malaya. He underwent his basic undergraduate and postgraduate medical training in the UK, and subsequently completed his sub-speciality training in Gastroenterology in the Yorkshire Deanery, UK. After joining the Faculty of Medicine in 2003, he pursued research in the area of Functional GI disorders and obtained a Doctorate in Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Leeds, UK in 2009. Despite a busy clinical practice and heavy training commitments, he has actively contributed to research with over 200 scientific peer-reviewed publications in international journals, 9419 citations and a H-index of 49 (Google Scholar). He currently serves as Associate and Academic Editor for several international journals and has been ranked “top 2% scientists in the world” by Stanford University in 2022 & 2023 .

Dr Hasniyati Hamzah is a senior lecturer with the Department of Real Estate, Faculty of Built Environment, Universiti Malaya. She holds PhD in Property from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Dr. Hasniyati actively researches and publishes in the areas of housing, urban studies, real estate law and real estate education. Her main research expertise is in housing tenure, which has led to the Malaysian Surveyor's Best Paper (PMVS Division) 2015 and a consultancy with Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA) on the Rent-to-Own scheme in Iskandar Malaysia. Among her research topics are housing pathways, alternative housing tenure, Mass Customised Housing, Smart Cities and professional socialisation among real estate students. She also studies strata management law in Malaysia, particularly the strata tribunal and the management for mixed strata development (sub-MC). Her research approaches have mainly leaned towards qualitative and mixed methods. Dr Hasniyati has published in top tier journals including Urban Studies, Housing Theory and Society, Journal of Housing and Built Environment, Open House International and Pacific Rim Real Estate Society Journal. She is a member of the Pacific Rim Real Estate Society (PRRES), Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) and Malaysian Institute of Property and Facilities Management (MIPFM).  She currently sits in the Examination and Publication Sub-committees of the Property Surveying Division of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia. In the past, she has served as Article Editor for SAGE Open, Internal Journal of Property Sciences and Journal of Design and Built Environment, besides serving as a reviewer for a number of local and international journals. In terms of teaching, Dr Hasniyati teaches predominantly real estate law subjects and has examined PhD and masters theses on the subject. She currently supervises PhD students undertaking research in strata management, public housing maintenance, Transit Oriented Development and Smart City.  

Nurul Liyana Mohd Kamil is a Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour, Faculty of Business and Economics, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. She served as a Postdoctoral Visiting Fellow in the Department of Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in the United Kingdom. She obtained a PhD in Human Resource Management from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia, Master of Business Administration from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia, and Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons.) specialized in Human Resource Management from Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia. Her research interests mainly in leadership, work engagement, voice behaviour, employees' well-being and work performance.  Nurul is the Associate Editor for Institutions and Economies Journal. She is also a Membership Officer of the Asia Pacific Academy for Psychosocial Factors at Work (www.apapfaw.org). She also engaged in academic work together with serving as an invited lecturer at Akademi Kepimpinan Wanita, Malaysia. She was awarded an Erasmus+ International Grant for Staff Mobility for Teaching and was appointed as a Visiting Scholar at Vytautas Magnus University in Lithuania. She has received various accolades, including the Universiti Malaya's Excellent Service Award (2023). She teaches both postgraduate and undergraduate students and supervises PhD and Master of Public Administration students in the linked discipline. Her most recent publications have appeared in a variety of WoS and Scopus journals, including Leadership and Organisational Development Journal, Management Research Review, Sage Open, and many others.
