ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. CHEW FONG PENG

Assc. Prof. Dr. Chew Fong Peng is a lecturer at Faculty of Education, University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia. Teaching Malay language education and early childhood education program, Presented approximately 160 working papers international and international seminars and conferences in Malaysia and foreign countries include United States of America, United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Greece, Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Philippine and Indonesia. Published 5 books, 101 articles published in journals, 67 papers in conference proceedings, 36 chapters in books, 20 translated books including creative writings, 10 edited books and creative writings. She is the book editor of Taylor & Francis, editor for local Year 4, 5 and 6 History textbook and Year 1 Arts and Music Education text book. Completed 19 research projects which 8 of them were led by Chew. She won many medals in academy and innovative expo. UM Outstanding Service Award (2008), being listed in Marquis Who's Who in the World 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2018; 2000 Intellectual in the World for 21st Century Year 2011. She won many medals in academy and innovative expo. Chew is article reviewer for some established international journals, namely Asia-Pacific Education Researcher, Asia Pacific Journal of Education, SAGE Open, International Journal of English & Literature (IJEL), British Journal of Medicine and Medical Research, British Journal of Education, Society and Behavioral Science (BJESBS), International Journal of Psychology and Counselling (IJPC), Educational Research and Reviews (ERR) and African Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology (AJPP) besides some local estalished journals included Pertanika: Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities, GEMA Online and Kemanusiaan,. Besides that, Chew recites Malay poem invited at state and national level. Chew was invited as visiting professor at Peking University from October, 2011 to June, 2012 during her sabbatical leave. Chew won the “The World Outstanding Researcher” award (2013).

DR. YEOH OON TAKE

Dr Oon Take Yeoh is an academic staff and specialist prosthodontist in the Department of Restorative Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Malaya. Currently, he is the Course Coordinator for the teaching of Operative Dentistry and the task force member for the inception and conduct of teaching of digital dentistry to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Dr Yeoh is also active in the field of implant dentistry. He received great teaching and mentorship in the field of implant dentistry from prestigious ITI fellows during his postgraduate training in University of Melbourne. Currently, he is also actively conducting courses which focus on digital dentistry and implant dentistry particularly on chairside digital workflow and also digital implant planning and prosthetic workflow. Dr Yeoh had recently been appointed as the study club director for ITI Malaysia Study Club Plus.    Dr Yeoh's current research interests are in the field of dental adhesives, dental ceramics, digital dental technology and implant prosthodontics. His clinical expertise includes conventional fixed and removable prosthodontics, oral rehabilitation, implant prosthesis (fixed and removable) and CAD/CAM workflow (laboratory and chairside). PROF. DR. FATHILAH BINTI ABDUL RAZAK

Joined the Faculty of Dentistry Universiti Malaya as a Tutor in 1996, completed Ph.D. in 2004, and has since, became a teaching academic in the Department of Oral and Craniofacial Sciences until her retirement in mid-June 2022. Throughout her career, Prof Fathilah has served the faculty as the Deputy Dean (Development & Human Resource), Head of the department, Head of Auditor, as well as Adjunct and Visiting Professor at UNAIR Surabaya and UNPAD Bandung, Indonesia. She has also been appointed as External Examiners and Program Reviewer for the Oral Biology discipline, and examiner for Master and Doctorate thesis in UM and various universities in Malaysia. Prof Fathilah’s current research interest revolves around the oral environment that includes the oral biofilm, saliva, oral microbes, oral mucosa, and the interaction of these factors with various components that are exposed to the oral ecosystem. Now Prof Fathilah is still with UM, serving as an Honorary Prof until June 2025.
