Dr. Rajenthyran Ayavoo is a senior lecturer in the Department of Management and Marketing at Universiti Malaya's Faculty of Business and Economics. With an extensive academic and industry background, he is highly regarded for his expertise in business management, particularly in the areas of technology, innovation, sustainability, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. Dr. Raj holds a Ph.D. in Business Management from Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, UK, where his research concentrated on Technology Capabilities and Innovation Collaboration. His broad research portfolio spans technology transfer, inter-organizational collaboration, knowledge management, entrepreneurship, green innovation, sustainability, and collaborative R&D across technology and service industries. As an HRD Corp certified trainer, Dr. Raj has delivered training programs for both private companies and government agencies, including prominent organizations such as Infineon Technologies, Panasonic Malaysia, KWSP (Employees Provident Fund), and Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad. His deep expertise in technology management, innovation strategies, ESG practices, and business financing has positioned him as a trusted advisor for organizations looking to enhance their competitiveness in a rapidly evolving global marketplace. Dr. Raj’s reputation as an expert has also led to consulting roles with international and national agencies, including the Economic Planning Unit (EPU), Ministry of Economy, Institute for Capital Market Research Malaysia (ICMR), United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), and Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). These roles demonstrate his significant influence in shaping policies and strategies that promote sustainable growth and innovation. With over six years of industry experience working for major Malaysian financial institutions such as Eon Bank, Hong Leong Bank, AmBank, and CIMB Bank, Dr. Raj has a wealth of practical experience in areas like personal financing, SME financing, mortgages, and business loans. This hands-on industry experience complements his academic knowledge, enabling him to effectively bridge theoretical concepts with real-world applications. As a Doctoral Fellow at the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (MIoIR), Dr. Raj continues to contribute to leading research in innovation and technology management. Mohd Hafiz Jamaludin is a senior lecturer in the Department of Shariah and Law, Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya. He is a graduate of Al-Azhar University, Egypt, in 2007, with a degree in Shariah Islamiah. In 2009, he pursued postgraduate studies in the Department of Shariah and Law, Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya, specializing in the Law of Fatwa. He completed his postgraduate studies in 2011. Subsequently, he received sponsorship from the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia under the Bumiputera Academic Training Scheme (SLAB) to pursue his doctoral studies in Shariah Law in 2012 at the same university. Throughout his doctoral studies, he had the opportunity to attend courses in Arabic language and Islamic Studies Methodology at the Islamic University of Madinah, Saudi Arabia, in 2013, and the Student Exchange Program at The Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture, Turkey, in 2014. He completed his doctoral studies in 2016. He has been involved in various research projects led by his supervisor, Professor Dato’ Dr Ahmad Hidayat Buang, in the fields of fatwa and Islamic finance. Furthermore, he led a research project in the field of Islamic finance funded by the Ministry of Education, University of Malaya, and INCEIF in 2017. He has published several articles in the fields of Shariah, fatwa, and Islamic finance in local and international journals, as well as presented at national and international conferences. He is the first of three siblings, is married to Norlaila Md Yusof and is blessed with three children.

I am a Family Medicine Specialist who has a deep interest in research related to hypertension, respiratory diseases in primary care, and telemedicine. I am commited to the field of hypertension is evident through my active involvement in various activities and societies related to hypertension. I have a remarkable track record of active participation and leadership roles in organizations, which reflects my dedication to advancing the field. Since 2022, I served as a Council Member of the Malaysian Society of Hypertension (MSH), vice president of the Malaysian Society for World Action on Salt, Sugar, and Health (MyWASSH) since 2024.  One of my most significant achievements is my active participation in organizing hypertension-related screening campaigns, particularly in collaboration with the International Society of Hypertension (ISH) and the May Measurement Month (MMM). I had been actively involved in hypertension screening campaigns in my hospital since 2015.  I serve as the key leader for the Asthma Right Care Initiatives, launched by the International Primary Care Respiratory Group (IPCRG), which focuses on promoting appropriate asthma management by addressing SABA overreliance in our setting. Additionally, I lead the teleconsultation services in my clinic, where we have implemented quality improvement projects to ensure continuous enhancement of our overall services.
