Dr. Nur Nasuha Binti Mohd Daud is a Senior Lecturer in Software Engineering at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya. She obtained a Doctoral Degree in Software Engineering Tools and Methods from the University of Malaya in 2022. Her areas of research include knowledge graphs, knowledge representation, link prediction, large-scale processing, Apache Spark framework, Azure cloud deployment, docker containerization, social networks, and autonomous computing. Dr. Nasuha is also a member of the Malaysian Special Interest Group in Software Resilience, Quality, and Automation. She is dedicated to advancing her research, teaching, and learning and is always seeking new opportunities to improve and expand her skills.
show more »Professor Emeritus Datuk Dr Shad Saleem Faruqi is a Malaysian legal scholar and professor of law at the University of Malaya, currently holding the Tunku Abdul Rahman Chair as Professor of Constitutional Law. He is also the fourth holder of the Tun Hussein Onn Chair in International Studies at the Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia effective July 2019 to June 2021. He is an Emeritus Professor of Law at Universiti Teknologi Mara, Shah Alam. He has served Universiti Teknologi MARA in Shah Alam, Selangor in various capacities from 1971 onwards. He served as the Head of the Diploma in Law programme (1979–1984), as Assistant Rector (1996–1999), Assistant Vice-Chancellor (1999–2001) and Legal Advisor (1996–2006, 2010–2017) He has also served in the faculties of law at the International Islamic University Malaysia, part-time at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and a visiting professor/Honorary Legal Adviser/Holder of the Tun Sambanthan Chair at Universiti Sains Malaysia and adjunct professor at New England University, Australia.
show more »Prof Ir Dr Ab Halim Abu Bakar received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom in 1976, M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Technology, Malaysia in 1996 and 2003 respectively. He spent 30 years of industrial experience with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) before joining University of Malaya. Prof Ir Dr Halim is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Malaysia, Member of IEEE, Cigre, Chartered Engineer (UK) and P.Eng (Malaysia). Currently he is a professor with the UM Power Dedicated Advanced Centre (UMPEDAC), University of Malaya, Malaysia. He is an established academician and a practical engineer. He has to-date published 97 ISI and 151 Scopus papers in journals and 47 papers in proceedings internationally. He has successfully supervised to completion 15 PhD, 5 master by research (M.Eng.Sc), 1 master of pilosophy (M.Phil) and 50 Masters by course work project (M.Eng) and has Web of Science H index of 38 and Scopus H index of 37. He is also involved as a reviewer for iternational journal such as IEEE Transactions Power Delivery, IEEE Transactions Power Systems, IEEE Smart Grid,IET Generation,Transmssion and Distribution IJEPES (Elsevier) and several international confereces. Prof Ir Dr Halim won several excellent awards during his professoinal and academic carrier. In 2008 he won IEEE PES Malaysian Chapter Outstanding Engineering Award.His research interest include power system protection and power system transients.
