DR. NOORASYIKIN BINTI SHAMSUDDIN

  Dr. Noorasyikin Shamsuddin has been serving as a dedicated pharmacy lecturer in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmacy Practice, University of Malaya (UM), since 2005. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacy from Universiti Sains Malaysia  and earned her PhD in Pharmacy from Universiti Teknologi MARA.  Dr. Noorasyikin’s research focuses on the safe use of herbal supplements, optimizing pharmacotherapy in the geriatric population, and advancing pharmacy practice. Her work bridges the gap between evidence-based medicine and practical applications, reflecting her commitment to improving patient care and pharmacy education. In addition to her teaching and research roles, Dr. Noorasyikin is currently the Program Coordinator for the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons.) program at UM.

DR. ANG PEI SOO

Pei Soo Ang (PhD, Macq.) is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Languages and Linguistics (FLL), Universiti Malaya. She currently serves as Director of the Academic Programme Management Centre at the Academic Strategic Planning Department under the Deputy Vice-Chancellor’s Office (Academic and International). She previously held the position of Deputy Dean (Higher Degree) at FLL from 2022 to 2024 and was a Visiting Faculty member at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta during the same period. Her research interests include disability and health discourses, critical disability studies, critical discourse studies, social semiotics and visual communication. Her current work focuses on characterising disability and health discourses in Malaysian media, employing a critical semiotic framework and a multi-perspectival methodological approach.

ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. THIRUNAUKARASU A/L SUBRAMANIAM

Associate Professor Dr. Thirunaukarasu Subramaniam received his PhD (Economics) from Universiti Putra Malaysia and his Masters of Commerce (Economics) from University of Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia. His research interest is focused on Economic Development in Southeast Asia. He was a Visiting Researcher at the Warwick Institute for Employment Research, University of Warwick, United Kingdom from November  2014 to October 2015.
