Associate Professor Dr. Anis Salwa Mohd Khairuddin is currently affiliated at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya. She is also a Chartered Engineer registered under the Engineering Council, U.K. and a member of IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS). In addition, she serves as Malaysia Focal point for Sub-Committee on Microelectronics and Information Technology (SCMIT) in ASEAN COSTI (from year 2020 until current). The Committee on Science, Technology & Innovation (COSTI) is responsible for operationalizing and translating the APASTI strategic thrusts into specific actions.  As for administrative responsibilities, she was the Final year Project (FYP) Coordinator from 2015/2016 until 2019/2020. Consecutively, she was appointed as the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) coordinator since 2020/2021 until 2023/2024. Currently, she is the Head of Department for the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya. In addition, she serves as the Head of Centre of Intelligent Systems for Emerging Technology (CISET), Faculty of Engineering, UM. Her research expertise lies in pattern recognition area, focusing on the application of artificial intelligence by developing computationally intelligent algorithms for spatial and temporal signal processing.  She works on the application of machine learning methods to solve various pattern recognition problems in precision agriculture, smart manufacturing, and energy management. My academic career began on December 05, 2001 as a tutor at the Department of Islamic History and Civilization, APIUM. A year later I had completed my Usuluddin Master's Degree in Islamic History with a dissertation entitled "Dato' Haji Ismail Yusof: His Contribution to the Development of Islam in Kelantan". After completing my master's degree, I was assigned as a lecturer in the Department of Islamic History and Civilization on January 24, 2003 until now. In 2012, I have successfully graduated with a PhD degree from the same deparment after submitting a research thesis entitled "Majalah Pengasuh After Independence: A Study of Themes and Approaches". Throughout my career as a lecturer at Department of Islamic History and Civilization, I have actively written various articles in the fields of Islamic letters, the development of jawi writing, sirah nabawiah, Method of Islamic Biography Writing and Islamic civilization in addition to presenting papers at national or international seminars. Among the areas of research that have been carried out are on Jawi writing, Jawi-Islamic manuscripts, and Islamic letters, scholarly figures of the Malay Peninsula and the relationship between Malaysian and Indonesian Islamic institutions of higher education. I have written more than 60 papers in seminar proceedings, more than 125 articles that have been published in national and international journals, in addition to various activities that are academic, community and so on. Now I have been entrusted to lead the Department of History and Islamic Civilization as the Head of Department starting from Julai 2012 until April 30, 2020. In addition, I was also appointed as Ahli Lembaga Pengarah Universiti Islam Malaysia since 2019 and also now as Ahli Senat UIM. In 2022, I was appointed as Prof Madya in the same department and have now published more or less 250 publications in various academic mediums.

Driven and focused; born with the spirit of an academic, and the soul of an explorer; Saiful received a PhD in Molecular Parasitology from Imperial College, London in 2006 after which he immediately joined Universiti Malaya as an academic. Currently he is a professor of Biochemistry in the Faculty of Science. More than 12 PhD and 15 MSc students have graduated under Saiful’s supervision. With over 70 publications (WOS) and an h-index of 22, Saiful is a recognized authority in the field of proteomics and has multiple collaborations with researchers across the globe. He has received more than RM 5 million in research grants. Saiful also holds various management responsibilities. Of particular note are his roles as Deputy Dean (2015-2017) and Dean (2017-2022) of the Frontiers of the Natural World Research Cluster (formerly known as Frontier Science Research Cluster), Director of IPPP (JPP) (2022-2024), and Currently as Dean of The Faculty of Science (Since 2025).
