Dr. Hairul Hasnan is a distinguished educator and accomplished music professional, holding a doctorate degree in Music and a master's degree in Music Production from the University of York, a prestigious institution in the UK. His academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Physics with Electronics, before he pursued his passion for music with a subsequent Bachelor's degree in Music. With a diverse background, Dr. Hasnan embarked on a rich career path, starting as a full-time musician at Radio Televisyen Malaysia, Malaysia's national broadcasting station. During his tenure, he actively participated in numerous recording sessions in studios and delivered captivating live performances with the RTM combo. As a seasoned music producer, Dr. Hasnan boasts an impressive portfolio of studio recordings, including the recent release of a 10-song album for Reening Lau, generously funded by Cendana (Cultural Economy Development Agency, Malaysia). He has also lent his production expertise to the debut EP of TitikDinginDamai titled "Belumkata", both of which are available for streaming on various digital platforms. His proficiency lies in pop and rock music, with a specialization in drums for both recording and live performances. Presently, Dr. Hasnan is deeply involved in the Malaysian indie scene, nurturing emerging talents such as We Are Avalanche and Laras dari Rasian. Beyond his creative endeavors, Dr. Hasnan actively engages in professional development initiatives. He has conducted numerous music production workshops, including sessions at Lembaga Kebudayaan Sabah, Radio Televisyen Malaysia, and several private companies. Additionally, he serves as the Secretary for the Audio Engineering Society (AES) Malaysia. Dr. Hasnan's contributions extend to scholarly pursuits as well. He authored the first Malay-language book on music production, titled "Asas Rakaman dan Produksi Muzik", a pioneering work in the field. Furthermore, his research on Nonlinear Mixing Systems, conducted during his tenure at the University of York, was presented at prestigious events such as the AES Convention 2019 in Dublin and the Art of Recording Conference at Berklee College of Music. show more »Dr. Norlisah is a Professor of Radiology, at the Department of Biomedical Imaging and a Neuroradiology Consultant for the University of Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She graduated with an MBBS University of Malaya and obtained her FRCR in London. She has received her radiology training at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham and has her neurointerventional training at Bicetre hospital in Paris. Her main research contribution has been in the field of neuroimaging. She is one of the Merdeka Awards recipients in 2008. Professor Dr Norlisah has published over 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals and oversees over 100 scientific papers. She has also organized and directed several workshops on neuroradiology imaging and serves as an expert team mission for IAEA. She is currently the President College of Radiology, Academy of Medicine of Malaysia (COR) , Malaysian Society of Radiologists (MyRad) and also serves as Executive Councilor Asian Oceanian Society of Radiology

He holds Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (2014), Master of Engineering Science (M.Eng.Sc) (2018), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Energy (2024), all from Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. Dr. Ashraf specializes in fuel engineering and tribology, with a primary research focus on sustainable fuel technologies for internal combustion engines. His work explores alternative fuels, biofuel applications, and tribological performance enhancements, contributing to the advancement of clean energy solutions. During his studies, he has actively worked with industry leaders, including the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) and DUCOM India, engaging in research on biofuels, fuel tribology, and lubricant performance optimization. His research findings have been published in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals, reflecting his commitment to academic excellence and scientific contributions in the field of sustainable energy and transportation. Dr. Ashraf remains dedicated to interdisciplinary research, industry engagement, and the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students, aligning his work with global efforts to reduce carbon emissions and enhance energy efficiency in combustion technologies.
